Two weeks. It had been two weeks since Rhaenyra and her family left kings landing and back to Dragonstone. Two weeks since they left Velaena in hell.

Not only was the last time Velaena saw her mother two weeks ago but it was also the last time she spoke. Two whole weeks without speaking a word to anyone. She believed that the silent treatment was best, but maybe not in this case.

She had also locked herself in her room like she did before, not wanting to face the outside world. Her knuckles were still bruised from the fight she had on the last dinner. But they were slowly getting better, still quite purple but getting back to normal.

So everytime she wrote a letter to her mother it would ease the pain slightly. She wrote 14 letters in those two weeks, one per day. And she planned on doing it until she could see her mother again. She wasn't happy how she snapped at her mother on the last day so she wanted to apologise. But although she had written 14 different letters and tried to inform what has been happening in her life she never got a response back, not even one.

But she wouldn't stop trying, she knew that one of these days she would respond and when she would it would be the best day. But the thought crossed her mind that maybe Rhaenyra didn't want to respond, maybe she was too hurt at what Velaena said the last time they spoke.

But it so happened that it was Velaenas ten and six name-day was in two days. And she wished her family could have stayed longer but they knew it was best for them to leave. She wouldn't want any more fights breaking out, especially after what happened at dinner.

Her head had been restless too, her nights cut short and the waking up consumed her brain. So when she couldn't sleep she would take up embroidery, anything that she could dream about she would embroider.

In those two weeks she had embroidered a rat, a dragon, the Targaryen symbol, a crib, and a blue sapphire. All random things that were building up dust in the corner of her room. Aemond and Velaena still weren't sharing the same bed chambers. Aemond was sleeping in their original room, the room the incident had happened in and velaena was on the opposite side of the castle. Still not ready to face him, or that room.

But she had managed to perfect some skills, for example doing her hair, archery and reading every book she could find in her room. so to say she was bored was an understatement, but going out there wasn't ideal either.

"Princess?" A soft knock came from the door before it opened revealing Aemion. She placed her inky feather down and turned her attention towards her sworn Knight.

"Dallax hasn't been out in a while, might I suggest you take him? It would be good for both of you" if it was any other knight velaena would have been offended but it was aemion, and she knew there was truth behind what he was saying. She hadn't left in two weeks and Dallax hadn't been out for even longer. Although she desperately wanted to stay in her bed She nodded in agreement, still not saying a word before aemion left allowing her to change into her riding Dress.

Ever since she had been at Kings landing she had been eating more than usual so when her clothes had come up tight on her it was no surprise. Cakes and buffets were where all that were being served in the castle.

But then she made her way to the dragon pits where Dallax was. Although he was the only thing she had left to remind her of home she was still distant to him, but who could blame her.

The carriage ride there was rather quick. It was quiet but she didn't mind that. The small folk stood by watching the carriage pass by and she couldn't help but smile. She thought about all the different days these people are having. Although it was quiet, Velaena wouldn't have wanted to talk anyway so I was perfect. And as soon as they arrived outside the pit Dallax was there waiting for Velaena.
