It was a normal day at BodhaMatrix Technologies. Mr. Sathyamurthy V. Prabhu had just finished his meeting with the latest client. There was a knock on his cabin, he permitted the person to enter. 

"Mr. Prabhu, I was here to inform you that my team has finished analysis for all the upcoming projects and a full report has been mailed to you. Since I completed all my work, can you please approve the leave I requested for?" 

Shriya Shenoy, the chief data scientist, spoke as soon as she entered the cabin. 

"Shriya beta don't call me Mr. Prabhu, it makes me realise that I have become old now." 

Shriya smiled sheepishly at Mr. Prabhu and said, "Sorry, Prabhu sir, it has become a habit of sorts." 

Mr. Prabhu smiled and said, "Yes, I approve your leave and I just wanted you to know that I have finished all the ongoing projects so from next week my son will take over the company. I am officially retiring." 

Shriya could already see the difference in his demeanour, he was more relaxed and less stressed. Shriya was happy for him but curious about the new boss. 

"Prabhu sir, if you don't mind, can I ask you something?" 

Mr. Prabhu nodded his head and Shriya continued, "Sir, you never mentioned your son before." "Why would I mention him? He stole my wife away from me. He is 32 years now, even then all my wife thinks about is him. So, in order to gain my wife's attention, I found the best solution of handing my company over to him and I will stay home and rest." 

Shriya laughed at what Mr. Prabhu said and she continued, "Aww, Prabhu sir, don't mind him, mother's always put their children before anyone." 

Mr. Prabhu said, "I know, I know, I was just kidding, he is the best son a parent could ask for." 

Shriya giggled and said, "Anyways, Prabhu sir, I will be on my leave from tomorrow, so I just wanted to thank you for giving me the opportunity to work for you. For believing in me, when I didn't believe in myself and for all the endless help you provided whenever I needed it." 

Shriya had tears in her eyes which she hid away from Mr. Prabhu when she bowed down to touch his feet. He blessed her and said, "Shriya beta, I am proud of you and don't worry, I will visit the office to supervise frequently. I just wanted to tell you, enjoy your vacation and keep your work phone away and give all your time to your family." 

Shriya nodded, leaving Mr. Prabhu's cabin, she entered her cabin and logged out of her computers, shutting it down and leaving the office. As soon as Shriya reached home, she was greeted by two little voices, arguing about the size of a baby elephant. She saw her Amma, Mrs. Devadarshini K. Shenoy cooking in the kitchen. Her Appa, Mr. Krishnamurthy C. Shenoy was cutting vegetables and her two apples, Ms. Adira Shriya Shenoy and Mt. Shivank Shriya Shenoy, were arguing about baby elephant's size. 

They came running towards Shriya when they noticed her. "Amma, you know we missed you very much the whole day. Why are you coming so late?" 

Aadi, the little princess of the house complained and Shivi contradicted her by saying, "Aadi, Amma works hard all day for us. She will also be on vacation from tomorrow, that's the reason she is late." 

Shriya smiled at their interaction and thought, "My little angels, what would I do without you?" 

Adira was the princess of the house and Shivank was Amma's little defender, you can also call him protector. They just turned 4 years old but no one could tell their age, looking at them and their intellect. 

Amma shouted from the kitchen, "Shriya, kanna, you should go pack your bags. We have to catch the train tomorrow early in the morning." 

She also added, "I have packed Aadi and Shivi's clothes, so you just have to pack yours. Also freshen up and come to the dining table, we are all waiting for you." 

Shriya said Ok Amma and went to freshen up. She came down and they all had dinner. It was the month of April, so the little angels had their summer vacation. Shriya took one month leave, so she could spend time with her family and take the little angels to their village for a vacation. They had just turned 4 and Shriya had promised them that she would take them to a vacation as their birthday gift. They also had taken gifts from her and everyone present in the party. They stayed in Bangalore, but her village was Mangalore. It was a 10 hour journey by train. Shriya packed her stuff and they all went to bed. As soon as the morning arrived, they left the house to go to their village.
