Shriya finished her dinner and went to Aadi's room. Amma informed her about Mr. Baby-Stealer, Shriya was shocked to know that Shivi and Aadi always messaged him and deleted the chat later. She also realized that his name was also saved under Mr. Baby-Stealer. Shriya then blocked the number from everywhere and warned Shivi not to contact strangers again. Saddened Shivi defended Shivansh but Shriya did not want to listen to a word against her decision. Shivi then sadly agreed to Shriya and annoyed with Shriya, he left for home with Amma, promising Aadi that he will come back tomorrow to take her home. Shriya spent the night in the hospital, waking up whenever Aadi called her name out. 

The next morning, a doctor came into Aadi's room informing Shriya that Aadi's condition has improved and she can be discharged soon. Shriya thanked the doctor and called Appa informing him about discharge. Appa came to the hospital and Shriya went to the reception to start the discharging process. Aadi was discharged soon after and Appa picked Aadi up in his arms who was still weak after the tubes and medicines. They reached home to find Shivi eagerly waiting for Aadi, he had a cute get well soon card in his hand which he proudly informed Shriya and Aadi that he himself made it.

Shriya's work phone started ringing as soon as she put Aadi on her bed to rest. 

It was Gargi's call, she picked up the call and said, "I won't be coming today, I put you incharge." 

She hung up the call before Gargi could say anything. Shriya spent the day by Aadi's side leaving her only when it was very necessary. Amma was worried about Shriya's health but Shriya did not listen to a word, staying awake even in the night thinking Aadi might need her.

The following morning, Shriya was reluctant to go to work and Amma had to literally force her out of the house. Shriya arrived at the office and Gargi was on her feet as soon as she saw Shriya going towards her cabin. 

Following her into the cabin, Gargi said, "Shriya where the hell were you? Leaving the office so abruptly, not picking up calls, missing an important dinner meeting, not arriving the next day. We were all worried about you." 

Shriya calmly apologized and said, "Aadi was ill and admitted to the hospital. I couldn't leave her side." 

Realization dawned on Gargi's face and she hugged Shriya tightly. Gargi could understand Shriya's pain. She also informed Shriya that the boss is waiting for her in his cabin. Shriya went to Shivansh's cabin and she could clearly see the anger on his face. 

Shivansh said, "Well hello Ms. Shriya, I thought you won't be returning to the office anymore." 

Shriya listened to his anger quietly, allowing him to continue. "I really thought Ms. Shriya that you could do anything for the company, but I think expecting anything out of you must be a disappointment." 

Shriya was going to say something when Shivansh stopped her and said, "You know I almost made a fool out of myself in front of that investor, I somehow tactfully handled him otherwise the investor would have definitely pulled his investment from the firm." 

He further continued by saying, "I guess I can't even trust you with a simple task of showing up when asked to right?" 

Shriya's anger then skyrocketed and she said, "Mr. Shivansh, no listen Shivansh, I couldn't come because there was a family emergency. I care for this company and I have been here since I was an intern, so you have no right to question my work ethics." 

"Well you didn't even have the courtesy to call and inform us that you won't be able to make it, so I will definitely question your work ethics." 

Shriya then angrily replied, "For that I am really really sorry, but I will always keep my family above my work and it was really a family emergency." 

Saying this Shriya opened the cabin doors and left his office leaving a fuming Shivansh behind. That night Shriya called her friends Nisha and Sharanya, she rambled to them about how bad her new boss was. She also informed them that he questioned her professional ethics. 

Her friends supported her and after bitching about him for some more time, they said, "It's okay Shri ignore that guy in the office now. But we just have one question, is he a handsome man?" 

To which Shriya replied, "He is very handsome but I wish to slap him." 

Sharanya jokingly said, "Slap him or kiss him?" 

Shriya whined and said, "I could never ever kiss him." 

Shriya instantly changed the topic and said, "You know some man called Mr. Baby-Stealer came to the hospital to meet Aadi." 

Nisha questioned, "What kind of name is that?" 

Shriya explained, "Shivi calls him that but I genuinely don't know who this guy is." 

Shriya then explained to them the whole scenario that occurred in the office. They were laughing a lot and asked Shriya not to overthink it. Shriya agreed and decided to sleep because she had work the next day.
