It has been a week since Shriya went on her vacation, they were all enjoying the vacation. They explored the temples in their village, the zoo, the river and everything. The little angels were very happy and tired at the same time. In Bangalore, the dynamics of BodhaMatrix Technologies was changing as Mr. Sathyamurthy Prabhu was now retired and his son was taking over the company from today. The new boss was going to address everyone in today's team meeting. There was chatter of rumors going around the office about him being very strict. The chatter died down as soon as the boardroom doors swung by. Mr. Shivansh Sathyamurthy Prabhu entered, wearing a blue three piece suit, his walk emitted confidence and his attire emitted bossy vibes. 

He started the meeting by introducing himself, "Hi, myself Shivansh Sathyamurthy Prabhu, the new CEO of BodhaMatrix Technologies, you all can address me with Sir or Shivansh or Shivansh sir, whatever you are comfortable with. I will take over the company from today. I know you all expect me to be like my father and I will try my level best to be like him, but if you have any complaints about the way I run my company, you can directly confront me, I won't mind the criticisms."

After his speech, the team introduced themselves. He noticed that the team was short of one employee. 

He asked the data scientist team, "Where is your chief?" 

Gargi, the associate data scientist replied, "Sir, she is on a vacation." 

Shivansh nodded and asked, "When would she be back?"

 Gargi replied, "We don't know the period of leave Mr. Prabhu granted her." 

Shivansh nodded and left the meeting room. 

On his way to his cabin, he called Mr. Prabhu, his Appa. "Appa, when will the chief data scientist be back?" 

Appa replied with a, "Wooww, not even a hello, direct business, huh?" 

Shivansh instantly replied, "Hello Appa, when will the chief data scientist be back?" 

Mr. Prabhu said, "She won't be back until Mid- May." 

"But Appa, why did you grant her one month leave, when you knew that I am taking over the company and I will obviously need her input before going forward with any deals." 

"I knew you would need her input, that's the reason, all the upcoming trends, new deals, etc. data is already mailed to you. Whatever you need is already in the report and if you need something else, you are an engineer with a MBA degree, I think you can figure it out. Also don't disturb Shriya on her leave, one more thing, you cannot revoke her leave, understood?" 

Shivansh was shocked to hear his Appa defend an employee but with an okay he ended the call. He was reading the reports and statistics provided by Shriya and started building a strategy to acquire new deals and new clients. Soon he stumbled upon her predictive analysis and called Gargi, the associate data scientist. 

He asked her, "I found some predictive analysis in the report, do you have any knowledge about that?" 

"No sir, Shriya always submitted the final report with all her input to Mr. Prabhu, but as far as I know, whatever is in there has never harmed the company, if it did, Mr. Prabhu would have fired her a long time ago." 

Shivansh nodded and told her to continue her work. He then analyzed all the previous reports and investments made according to her predictive analysis, it was safe to say that she was very intuitive and knew the market well. Meanwhile in Mangalore, Shriya was enjoying her leave when a call rang on her phone. 

She picked it up to see Gargi calling. "Yes Gargi? Is there an emergency  in the company?" 

"No Shriya, enjoy your vacation. I just called you to inform you that Mr. Prabhu has retired and his son took over this morning. He was asking for you and questioned why you got such a long vacation period." 

"What did you say?" 

"That we don't know anything about your leave period and you directly dealt with Mr. Prabhu. I also think that he called him and Mr. Prabhu warned him against taking any drastic steps." 

"Well he can do whatever he wants, I still have a 3 weeks paid leave and I won't be back before Mid-May. If he has any queries, he can E-Mail me or we can also arrange a google meeting, if he doesn't want to then he can shove it up his ass." 

"Calm down, Shriya he won't disturb you hopefully. Just to let you know, he is one handsome man. If I was not married already, I would have jumped his bones." 

"Eww, Gargi. God no, I can't think like that about my boss and I definitely don't want your explicit images in my head." Laughing, Gargi bid her farewell and Shriya went back to her little angels.
