"Jungwon, please," Suyin exhaled when attempting to free herself from his tight grip.

Her eyes were practically burning holes into the back of his dark hair, and she still couldn't get him to stop. What she saw was clearly an alarming sign–too blaring and bright to overlook. However, Jungwon continued leading her until arriving at her guest bedroom. He swung open the door until voices appeared.

"Jungwon? Suyin?" They heard. The duo halted. Jake and Sunoo appeared from down the hallway, traveling to them.

"Oh– hm...What's going on here?" Sunoo questioned while squinting at them.

Jungwon glanced at Suyin's wrist beneath his grip. "It's not what it looks like, I swear–"

"We heard you guys all the way from where we were. Is everything okay?" Jake asked.

"Suyin is having a rough time. It's best if she gets some rest," Jungwon explained.

Suyin furrowed her brow. "No, I'm fine," Suyin restated. She patted Jungwon's hand, which was still locked around her wrist.

"She started seeing things... It's getting concerning," Jungwon went on.

"Yeah, I did see things and they were real," Suyin countered. "Cultists were right in front of me."

"I was with you the entire time. There was no one there–just you roleplaying with the wall," Jungwon said.

"If we don't find them now, they might hurt someone," Suyin worried.

"Are you sure you weren't just imagining things?" Sunoo suggested, resting his hand on his hip.

"I wasn't imagining anything," Suyin sighed. She pressed her hand onto her forehead when a headache rotted inside. "Was I?..."

"Yin," Jungwon started and turned her by her shoulder. "I think the ball and the fight earlier was just enough for you to manage. You're pushing your limits. We'll handle it from here, okay?"

Suyin scrunched her lips to the side when Jungwon gently rubbed his thumb on her shoulder. She finally admitted defeat with a short exhale. "Okay." She pointed her finger and poked his chest, staring up at him sternly. "Just be careful."

For some reason, Jungwon chortled and gently took her hand. Suyin's eyes softened the moment she heard his faint laugh. "Will do. Go get some rest now," Jungwon said.

Although her body yearned for sleep, her eyes couldn't shut. She replayed the visual of the cultist's white gloves against their deep black cloak and the haunting purple hair flying in the air like steam. Perhaps they were right–too much happened within just a night for her.
