Third Person’s Point of View

Rick, Daryl, and the rest of the group made their way out the hospital. As soon as they stepped out, they saw Michonne, Maggie, Glenn, Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, and Tara.

The Greene sisters greeted each other with a huge hug. The blonde girl cried as she hugged her sister tighter. The group couldn’t help but smile at the girls.

"Hey, you still want to go with me to my home?" Noah asks the blondie as he walked towards her.

Beth smiles softly. "Of course, Noah."

The two made their way to the group. They talked about their plan of going to Noah’s home. When they heard that Beth wanted to come, Maggie immediately said her opinion about it. But eventually let the girl go, thinking that she’s gonna be safe since she’s with Rick, Glenn, Tyreese, Michonne, and Noah.

After what seemed like an hour of the drive, they finally came to a stop. They set on foot. As they reached their destination, Noah pushed himself to the gate, trying to hear anything inside the huge gate.

"You hear that?" He asked after he pushed the gate, making a loud noise. The gate is now rusty, may be because it’s already old or there is no living thing to take care of it.

"Just wait." Glenn said, as he made his way to the wall, trying to find an easy way to climb through.

On the other hand, Beth walked to Noah’s side. She slightly nudged him, gaining his attention. "Hey, don’t want to be the negative one, but do you think that your family’s still in there?" She whispered, filtering her words carefully so that she won’t hurt him by her wrong choice of words.

The boy glanced between Beth and the gate in front of them, he then kept his gaze to her. "I got nothing to lose if I'll hope so, right?" Noah chuckled, trying to lighten up the mood.

All of them watched Glenn as he finally manages to have a sight of the community. His expression changed when he saw the silent community.

He looked at Noah and shook his head, indicating that there is nothing left. Noah quickly climbed up, to check it himself. Taken over by his emotions, he walked ahead of the group. Rick called out to him but he didn’t stop.

Beth wanted to comfort the boy, but she’s not sure how to do so, so she just let him do whatever he’ll do.

The group followed after Noah as he ran from them, observing the used-to-be-alive community.

The community is literally nothing now. Bodies of soon-to-be walkers are scattered everywhere. Dried leaves on the pavements and roads shows that the community has been long gone.

Noah dropped to the ground, crying. While the group couldn’t help but feel.. sad, that there is no community or place that they can stay at. All of their hopes were like crushed into pieces the moment they saw the place.

Beth slowly approached the boy, wanting so bad to comfort him, so she did. She hugged him even though at first, he wouldn’t want to. But after Beth’s insisting, he hugged her tighter — crying onto her shoulder.
