Third Person's Point of View
Allison wiped the sweat forming on her forehead as she used the shovel for supporting her balance. "For how long are we gonna do this?" She asked with her famous British accent as she rolled her eyes for the uncountable times.
Aaron laughed, for the fact that Allison had asked him the same question for multiple times now since they started. "Come on, Alli. Work your ass off."
She groaned. "Why am I even doing this!? Agh. I'm gonna have to ask Deanna later." Allison complained as she drank the all the water left in her water container. She was so dehydrated that she could still feel her throat dry.
"If you won't do this, you are gonna die." Aaron dared as took off his gloves and looked at Allison. "Crops will help us, Alli."
"And you," Allison pointed him using her middle fingers. "Already told me that since we met."
He gasped when he saw her finger. "Hey! You're not allowed to use that!"
Allison playfully stuck her tongue out at him. "Whatever you say, boring guy." She then threw him her gloves. She sat on the ground. "I'm tired, you keep digging." She commanded. Allison used her hand to block the sun out of her face.
Aaron threw back her gloves, it landed right on her face. "Hey! Keep working!" He whined.
Allison can easily tell that he's just keeping his laughter, because she would definitely gone mad if he'll do that.
Aaron and Allison met when she saw him wandering deep down the forest, he looked messy that time. It was like, all of his hope had been long gone. But she managed to convince him, at least, to come back with her to her community, Alexandria.
Alexandria has always been her home ever since she left them, her family. She had been through hell and heaven, back and forth, even before world fell apart. Allison had more luck when she had the chance to meet Deanna.
Allison snapped back to reality when Aaron flicked her forehead. She immediately kicked him.
"Hey!" They both yelled in unison.
"Just keep digging, a-hole!" Allison yelled at him.
They've been digging the ground for hours now, for they will plant crops, according to Aaron. Allison hasn't seen Deanna since last night, she might pass by her house before she go outside these huge walls.
"Whatever you say, Princess." He teased as he throw some dirt to Allison's direction.
Really, this guy pisses me off. She thought.
"Allison, Allison!"
She immediately turned her head around her, when she heard her name. Her body can't turn around right now due to the position she's in.
"Haven't I told you not to scream my name like that, Henry?"
"My name is Matthew, Allison. Not Henry!" He groaned. Matthew sat down beside her.
"I know that your name is Matthew." She snorted, recalling one of her favourite books. "What do you want? Are you still gonna ask me out on a freakin' date? Because hell nah, I don't want to, really." She had to stop herself from laughing.
When Matthew confessed his likings for Allison, it did not went very well. Because, of course, she rejected him as quick as she could. For Allison has a lot of priorities right now and love is not really her thing.
