Allison's Point of View
I stared at our hands for a few seconds. I smiled inside but kept a serious face outside.
I took my hand back. "So, you guys changed your mind yet?" I asked, crossing my arms again. He leaned in the RV, too.
"It's up to Rick, really." Was all he replied.
"But what do you think of me?" I stood properly, facing him, looking at his eyes. "Do you think I am worth of your trust?" I whispered.
He looked hesitant. "I don't know." He moved his head to the other direction. "You may be trustworthy, but I don't think I will trust you yet." He shrugged his shoulders. "It's hard to trust someone who shows no emotion." Daryl looked back at me.
What he said made me laugh. Geez. "Am I unreadable?" I laughed. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just, you know," My face turned serious again. "I just find it hard to trust anyone or anything. Aaron and our leader are the only ones I trust." I smiled, but a fake one. I can't bring myself to show any genuine emotions yet.
He laughed, too. But compared to mine, his was genuine. "Well, I just noticed that you are different from anyone that we met so far." He shrugged his shoulders. "Brave, strong, intimidating, fierce, yet you got that angelic-like face." Daryl pointed my face.
I shook my head. "People doesn't know a thing about me, Daryl." If only he knew how shitty my life even before this apocalypse happened, he would pity me.
"But I don't think I'll belong to those whom doesn't know you." He smirked.
I scoffed. "Oh, Daryl. Don't even think you'll get to know me." I rolled my eyes.
We were talking when Maggie approached us. "Sorry to interrupt. But, Kelsea, Aaron's looking for you." She said.
"Oh, yeah, right." I fixed myself before following Maggie.
Daryl walked behind me. I noticed that the others are inside, too.
Aaron walked out of a room. He stood in front of everyone. "Thank you. You saved Eric." He sincerely thanked.
I'm standing beside the door, kind of away from everyone. I crossed my arms and legs, leaning against the wall. I listened carefully with everything that he's gonna say.
"I owe you. All of you. And I will make sure that debt is paid in full when we get to our community." He added. I noticed that Rick is now standing not too far from Aaron's back. "When we get to Alexandria." He smiled. "Now, I'm not sure about you, but I'd rather not do any more driving tonight." Aaron chuckled a bit. "Maybe we can hit the road tomorrow morning." And I, can finally rest my back on my comfortable and soft bed.
"That sounds fine." My gaze shifted to Rick. "But if we're staying here for the night, you're sleeping over there." Rick pointed the couch across them.
Silence took over them for a few minutes. I slowly walked forward, raising my right hand. "I'll just.. sleep there or I can keep watch. But let Aaron be with him again." I took a deep breath in as I crossed my arms over my chest. Glenn leaned forward a bit towards Rick, and started talking.
Rick looked at me and nodded. "All right."
I nodded my head. I tapped Aaron's shoulder. "Get some sleep." I whispered before walking towards the door.
