Third Person’s Point of View
"Seriously? Can you just — damn! Not there!" Allison yells as Aaron massages the wrong part of her back. "You idiot." She added. Aaron just laughed.
"What? You still want me to massage your back?" He asked while laughing, slowly lifting his hands off of her back.
"Damn it! I told you to massage my back. I'm gonna feel better that way." Allison groans as she tried to reach her back where it hurts. It's been a few days since she’s been sleeping on the ground, and it hasn’t helped that she’s not used to it.
Aaron sat across her. "What? I thought you want some free massage, eh?" He teased, adding more fuel to her anger and frustration.
Allison just raised her middle finger in annoyance. Eric, on the other hand, was preparing their dinner. He had invited Allison to come over and just have some talk.
"Are you okay now?" Eric sweetly asked as he began placing the plates on the table, enough for the three of them.
She nodded. "Yeah, I guess. Maybe if I could finally get some sleep, my back won’t hurt as much by tomorrow." Allison smiled to Eric, he returned the gesture. "How about you? Does that still hurt?" She nodded her head to his injure.
Eric nods a bit. "Mhm. I think I’m a bit fine now, thank you."
After placing the utensils and plates that they’ll use, they said grace and ate.
Allison closed her eyes when the flavour of the food hit her tongue. "Shit! This is so good!" She said, pointing to her food.
Eric chuckles. "Oh, no. Thanks, Allison. I’m glad you liked it, at least. Because Aaron here," He bumped his right shoulder to Aaron’s. ".. still don’t like the foods that I am putting efforts on." He playfully rolled his eyes.
"Oh. Then maybe you should stop cooking for him, but for me instead!" Allison happily suggested. Eric seemed to agree with her suggestion.
"Oh, great! Then I’ll visit you tomorrow morning and make you some breakfast then!"
After having a lot of conversations with Eric, and when I say Eric, only him. She couldn’t feel any but happiness, because as the day turned into night, Eric and Allison did nothing but just talk, an endless talk.
"Alright, alright!" Allison waved off, she stumbled a bit when she stood up. Aaron quickly went to her side to help her, but she just hit his hands away.
"Hey! You sure you can walk home?" Aaron worriedly asked.
Eric’s laugh echoes. "Oh, my God. She’s fine, Aaron! She can obviously walk home alone."
Allison nods her head, drunk. "Oof! Yep, he's right!" She pointed to Eric, who just continued laughing. "He’s right. I-I can definitely go home." If Allison is not drunk right now, she probably would roll her eyes at Aaron for thinking that she couldn't handle herself.
"But.. but — "
Aaron was interrupted when Eric hit him.
"Hey, I said she’s gonna be fine." He sighed. "Right?" He looked at Allison for backup.
Allison just nodded and gave a thumbs up. "I'll go now. Bye, guys." She waved her hand goodbye. Eric and Aaron were standing on the porch, glancing at Allison’s fading figure before they walked in their house.
