That's all I hear from my bathroom before I push it open to see this girl on the floor smoking a blunt - MY BLUNT.. and vibing to whoever is screaming in my ear..
"Girl how the hell did we transition from Sam Smith, to Gospel, to whoever this is -- bitch is this X??"
As the smoke blew out from her mouth, she sat up and moved some hair out of her face. "And Ski, but leave me, I'm wallowing.."
"Girl, wallow another time, get up! Didn't Aiden tell you not to worry?"
She stayed silent and took another hit. I grabbed it from her hands and put it out
"Hey --!"
"Hey, nothing! Get up, get in the shower, and stop crying over this man!"

"You might as well be as you're sprawled out on my floor like my bathroom is the trap house!" I exclaimed
She was silent but eventually got up, "Sorry.."
I sighed. I can't be Rae in this situation. I just feel so bad for her. Transition from high school relationships to a real one can be finicky, especially with all she's gone through with a big gap.
"It's ok, kitten.. I just hate seeing you like this. Everything will be alright."

I looked at my phone, and I did a little hop with a squeak as I saw Colby wanted to meet for lunch
"Lemme guess.. Colby?"
I nodded with a sad smile, "He wants to have lunch with me.. b-but you're more important! --"
"Girl. Go have lunch with the man."
"You sure?.."
She sighed and started to stretch, "I don't wanna hold you back just because I feel some type of way bunny.."
I hugged her, "You can stay here if you want?"
She patted my back softly, letting go, "Nah, I do need to go back and clean myself up. Thanks for putting up with me." She chuckled
BUZZ BUZZ
"Damn, he can't wait??"
I watched her phone light up as it buzzed. "Um, that was your phone.." I looked over and jumped on her squealing, "It's Joe! It's Joe!"
"Huh?!" She lost her footing but caught herself
"He said that he was swamped with meetings that couldn't wait! I told you he wouldn't do this on purpose, kitten!"
I gave her the phone and snapped her out of the daze she was in. I jumped down and skipped to my room, picking my outfit. I texted him what time to be ready by and where the lunch is. I have a few ideas.. like, do I bombard him with my k pop addiction? Play it cool or cute? I don't even know where we're going.. My thoughts were interrupted by the bathroom opening, and I saw Jordan come out smiling
