i apologize for any trauma i'm giving to previous readers who've seen this before...
long time no see! ...okay, let me get into it.
i'm not gonna lie, i've been writing some chapters for this book, and i can't stop comparing the previous chapters to my other grey's books (Greenland & Alaska) because they have a similar-ish plot to how the love interests get together.
i've been thinking about either:
OPTION 1: rewriting this book so the arcs aren't similar.
by similar, i mean:
- oc gets a crush on main guy (owen hunt, jackson avery, mark sloan), gets with someone else, then gets with the main guy after.
- [in reference to Alaska] - both mark and jackson have a similar realization of: omg... she's the one... i gotta stop my man-whoreish ways... at the same time the oc gets with someone else, then they don't do anything to not get involved
personally... it's been bothering me a lot ever since i noticed it (mostly how similar jolly+de la sloan are)... so, yeah...
OPTION 2: discontinuing this book, and writing a different mark sloan book.
i have a few ideas... but i don't want to give too many details 😭
OPTION 3: discontinuing this book, but rewriting marcy+mark's love story on a different book.
as in, if you want to go back and read what's here so far, you can. and, you have the option of reading the new plot of mark+marcy on a different book... i don't know if i'm making sense... but yeah...
