Scarlet walks into the bar, her scarlet cloak billowing behind her. The patrons fall silent, mesmerized by her red eyes that seem to glow in the dim light. She sits on a tall stool, her cloak obscuring her face, and orders a beer.
'A beer, please,' she said, her voice a low, husky whisper.

The bartender, momentarily startled by her presence, quickly recovered. 'Coming right up, miss,' he mumbled, reaching for a glass.

The air thrummed with the low hum of conversation as the girl in the scarlet cloak waited for her beer. She idly scanned the scene, her gaze settling on a pair of figures huddled in a corner booth. One, a boy with bright pink hair and oversized goggles, looked nervous. The other, a cheerful young man with a straw hat, seemed more optimistic, his brow furrowed in concentration.

“All right, so I can’t get inside the base, through the gate. But... maybe... maybe... maybe what if I get inside flying? I can grab onto a bird or something…” The strawhat boy’s voice, though hushed, was full of the kind of youthful enthusiasm that could get someone in a lot of trouble.

The girl in the scarlet cloak couldn’t help but chuckle at the ridiculousness of the plan. She had a feeling this wasn’t the first, nor the last, outlandish idea this pair would come up with.

“That’s a terrible idea,” the pink-haired boy hissed, his gaze darting around nervously. “Keep your voice down!” He glanced at the girl, a flicker of apprehension in his eyes, before whispering, “Don’t mind him, he’s just a little… enthusiastic.”

'It's fi-- '

The straw hat wearing boy, Luffy, cuts her off, his eyes sparkling with an infectious enthusiasm. 'Hello! My name is Luffy, wanna join my crew? I'm gonna be king of the pirates!'

The pink haired boy, grimaces and hurriedly throws a hand up to silence Luffy. 'Shut up, Luffy! Not everyone wants to join your crew, and the marines are here!'

The girl in the scarlet cloak, her eyes fixed on Luffy, tilts her head slightly. 'King of the pirates, huh?' she asks with a smirk playing on her lips.

The other boy awkwardly rubs the back of his neck, attempting to soothe the situation. 'Don't mind him, he's a little... uh, weird. I'm Koby. Nice to meet you.' He reaches out a hand to shake hers, his face flushed with a nervous smile

'Scarlet,' she says, her voice as sharp as the blade she wields, without shaking the hand Koby offered. He awkwardly retracts his hand, his face flushing slightly.

'So what was it about being the king of the pirates?' she asks, her gaze flicking between the two boys.

Luffy, ever the oblivious one, begins to explain, 'I am planning—'

'It's nothing he is—' Koby cuts him off, his voice a nervous squeak.

Scarlet's eyes narrowed, 'You all are planning to break into the marine base… but why so?'

Luffy's eyes widen in surprise, 'How did you know?'

Koby sighs, 'You were too loud, you moron.'

Scarlet was about to say something when she gets interrupted by the bartender, as he poured the golden liquid, the girl remained still, her red eyes never leaving the bartender. The scarlet cloak, despite the heat of the bar, remained draped around her shoulders, its fabric shimmering in the dim light. It was as if she were shrouded in a veil of mystery, a secret waiting to be unveiled.
