Jingle-Bella, jingling

After our lesson was our lunch break. Out of courtesy, I asked Ashley to join me for lunch. She agreed, of course.

Having a conversation with Ashley was smooth, there was never an awkward pause, we talked about how she was in the previous school since it was an all-girls school, Ashley shared with me what it was like to be surrounded by the same gender day-in and day-out. There were funny stories that she shared too. Ashley is an only child to Mr and Mrs Collin who are architects who moved from London for a huge project that will last for 2 to 3 years, just nice for Ashley to finish high school.

The conversation we had made me forget the heavy and uneasy I had been feeling the moment I saw her. Ashley seems cool and it is understandable why guys around are gawking over her, she is beautiful as you continue to look at her, perhaps, the way she carries herself with full on elegance and confidence plays an important role as well.

"Hey Ashley, after school do you want to hangout with me and my best friend, Jackson?" without realising I found myself asking her.

"Yes!" she replied.. a bit too quickly, I must say.

"Great, I will introduce the two of you to one another after school by the only black jeep in the parking lot," I said.

That's weird, she did not even ask me who is Jackson or anything else, she just agreed. She also seemed a bit too excited

The rest of the day went pretty shortly, maybe because it is the first day and most of the time the teachers just laid down some ground rules, and expectations and set some goals for each subject. Personally, I love doing goal setting, it gives me a clear of mind and allows me to check if I am on track to achieving my end goals. Not to brag, I am indeed the top student, and aside from my intelligence, I will need to give some of the credit to my goal setting. Jack used to tease how I was such a nerd or even called me the "inflexibella" because to him I was not flexible enough to let loose and have fun. Which is not true... I do know how to have fun, it is just that my definition of fun is different from his.... and most of the school population. To each their own.

"Hey Bella, you go ahead first, I will need to use the ladies, I will meet you at the carpark?" Ashley asked.

I nodded and walked to the carpark.

There he was, standing and leaning against his jeep. Not sure if he is the sexy one is the jeep, or him... Whoah whoah whoah, what the heck? Where did that come from? I must be insane. But think about it, does the jeep make Jack sexier or Jack make the Jeep sexier? ISABELLA!?? What are you spouting?! Goodness gracious, am I heating up or something? Where did all these thoughts come from?

"Heyyyy my little jingle-bell fairy, any great news for me?" he welcomed me with a slight tonality of hope.

I rolled my eyes. "It is me, Isabella, do not underestimate me. You wanted to know more about her, right?" He nodded.

"Instead of hearing from me, how about you find out from the body herself?" I asked.

"Yes dumb-dumb, in order for me to do that, you need to make the passage for me first? Hello??" he said cluelessly. Somehow, it spiked a little bit. But I pushed it aside. Did he call me dumb? He can't even understand the in-between the lines.

Just nice, as he said that, Ashley came out from the school building and walked towards us.

"Why is she walking towards us, Bella? Bella? She is walking towards us, right? Oh, she is smiling too. Is she waving at... me? Wait a minute, she is walking towards me!" He commentated as it was a FIFA game.

"And you called me dumbed? Yes fool, I invited her to hang out with us after school, so you can find out about her yourself!" I exclaimed.

"Hey, you two!" chirped Ashley.
