Going in a particular direction he finally reached in the heart of the forest only to witness the heartbreaking sight.
His love lying unconscious on the ground.
Yes, he loved her a lot. Wasn't it obvious? Reaching near her he saw vamipre bite mark on her neck. He picked her up in his arms gently and looked elsewhere in attempt to ensure there was o danger around. He mind linked to everyone.
Jungkook:: I have found her, we are coming back.
Without thinking any further he walked back to palace.

Author's POV:
Waiting impatiently for the news of success of his plan Lazarus was pacing back and forth. The gate of the room opened revealing one of the guard entering with a frightened expression on his face. Seeing his expression his eyes darkened and asked in a low voice.
Lazarus: Did you all succeed?
Guard: M-my Lo-rd actually all of the vampires you sent are dead.
Within a moment he felt his breath stuck in his throat as Lazarus gripped his neck tightly.
Lazarus: I don't fu*king care about them. Just tell me, did Liam brought the Moon Pearl or not.
Guard: L-ord h-he's dead.
Lazarus left his throat while he hurriedly stepped back taking heavy breath. Lazarus turned around and started to leave but before leaving.
Lazarus: He should be punished for giving me such unpleasant news, shouldn't he?
He said to his other guards to which they bowed while the one started pleading to let him go but all in vain as other guards dragged him away while Lazarus left the room.

In the middle of the room she laid unconscious with medication applied on her wounds. Feeling guilty about not being able to save his only daughter, Alpha Kim wasn't ready to face her so he remained outside while his Luna also remained there giving him support. Busy in controlling the situation entirely, others also had gone outside leaving only Jungkook who sat beside her holding her hand protectively in his big ones.
Jungkook (in mind): I'm sorry, I couldn't save you. I'm sorry love.
Soon her eyelashes fluttered catching his attention.
Y/n's POV:
As I opened my eyes my vision seemed a bit blurry. After some seconds my vision cleared while the only person I saw was Jungkook. I think I'm hallucinating. How can he be here? But then he called out my name.
Jungkook: Y/n love, are you okay?
As I listen to his voice I realize that I was in my room and he is really here. Sh!t! I hurriedly sit up straight only to meet a sharp pain in my neck. He engulf me in his arms, only then I remember what happened before I lost my consciousness. Pulling me away from him he start saying something but here my mind is only on the lost warmth. His next words snapped me out of my trace.
