The atmosphere in the kingdom seemed bleak with no sign of good energy in surrounding. The Kingdom which was once glowing from the preperations of crowning ceremony of their new Alphas was now under the threat of war.
Everyone was preparing themselves for the upcoming turn of events. Full moon was 1 day ahead which meant the war was coming up.
Crowning ceremony cancelled while wolves were getting trained. Everyone knew Vampires had become too strong after the hiding of eternity.
But were they scared? Hell nah.
Their trust over their Alphas, Prince and Princess that they would never let them down kept them strengthened. And even loyalty of wolves towards their pack is something they could even die for.

Sitting on the terrace she stared at the night sky and the Moon that was near it's high. Seemingly lost in thoughts of the events happening since the past one month. Recalling from when she hated him just because of some incomplete flashes of past, to when she started loving him but not because of incomplete love story they had. His love, his care and his understanding. Everything made her fall in love with him even in this lifetime.
Y/n: Jungkook, I'm missing you. Please come back.
A tear rolled down her eyes. No matter how much she tried to ignore but her heart was missing him badly. The way he disappeared was not usual.
And also the biggest fear she had in her heart. What if he remembers his past life gets to know I remembered? He would obviously doubt her love as the attachment for Eunho.
But somewhere she also knew that he remembered everything. The look in his eyes she observed before he disappeared said volumes to her already.
It had been 2 day since he's gone and their last talk. She felt anxious but couldn't do anything. She trusted him but the situation was too much for her to handle alone. Just then Jimin came running to her.
Y/n: What happened Jimin-shi?
Jimin: Jungkook is back.

Dark Slay Kingdom
Author's POV:
Standing on the railing of his balcony he stared at the view of darkness surrounding him with a lot of questions roaming in his mind.
"Was it all fake from the start?"
"Why did you do that?"
"I was an emotional fool to fall in love with you"
The memories of last night flooded in Jong-in's mind making him feel numb.
Flashback:
Jong-in was descending down the staircase with a happy mood. But the thought of Werewolf Prince somehow worried him.
Jong-in: I have to stop the war, at all cost. I can't let my people die just because of Vampire Lord's senseless obsession over power.
He moved in the direction of Lazarus's master bedroom with the thought of manipulating him to stop this with his powers he recently recognized. Yes! It turns out that the Gate of Wizardry provided him with the powers that truly belonged to him and he recognized them effortlessly. It made him one of the most powerful hybrid.
He reached the door of his room and closed his eyes feeling Lazarus's presence inside via his powers. But being astonished he sensed another presence too which was surprisingly not unfamiliar.
He felt numb and just then he heard a loud voice of Lazarus screaming at that person.
Lazarus: I had told you to give me his information of damn every second and every action, everything. This is how you're doing this. I have a lot of favours over you for which you're paying by giving me Jong-in's information. Don't forget, you were bought here by me Jennie Kim.
Inside the room, Jennie just kept her head bowed down but Lazarus gripped her jaws making her look at him.
Lazarus: You should remember your place. You're just a puppet of mine which I can use as I want. Don't ever try to over smart me or else I even know how to break this puppet.
He harshly let her go making her cheek bleed. But the stoic expression never left her face while tears brimmed in her eyes a bit which she hid perfectly.
Jennie: I'm not trying to over smart you My lord. It's just lately he doesn't tell me much about anything.
Outside Jong-in stumbled from his place hearing the conversation. It turned out that the person whom he trusted was never worthy of it. Feeling betrayed he left from there not knowing that someone had seen him there already.
Flashback Ends
Suddenly a knock was heard making him come out of his trace. But nothing bothered him right now. Suddenly the door flash opened and he turned around to see his friends Baek-Hyun, Se-hun and Chanyeol present there.
Baek-Hyun: Hey, Wtf you think you're doing, huh. And you don't even consider us as your friends right?
He bombarded him with emotional words as he came inside. While on the other side Se-hun and Chanyeol sighed.
Se-hun: Chanyeol told us about everything. I'm disappointed that you never shared these things with us but it's okay.
Jong-in shook his head. He never meant to make them feel like that.
Jong-in: Please, I never meant something like that. I just.
He fell silent and jumped into the balcony and came towards them.
Chanyeol: You just what? Even I got to know after so much had happened and now this. I will make her pay for what she did to you.
He said getting angry while Jong-in chuckled.
Chanyeol: What is funny?
Jong-in: You're cute when you're angry.
He said making others silent for a moment. Suddenly Baek-Hyun started crying and hit Se-hun.
Baek-Hyun: My friend has lost his senses because of that girl. Yah do something to bring it back.
His overacting made everyone else burst out laughing. Jong-in took a brief look at them knowing that they were the one never letting him down. But he knew that his goal will only throw their lives in danger. But he didn't care now as their lives were already in danger. He spent hours thinking abiut everything. Then what was his choice? Answer was clear in his mind. Joining hands with wolfs. That was the only answer came to his mind.
