Siobhan and Marjorie were on their way to the other nursery where the spare clothes were so that she was able to get out of her soaked outfit. They could tell that Autumn was angry, and not just average angry, she was pissed. She looked as if she was about to commit a murder but they had discussed the plan going forward so she had to wait to batter her father. They wanted to give the woman time to confide in them and feel safe before they took any action in confronting Roger.

The short drive back to the nursery was silent, Marjorie had so many questions but she didn't want to push her too far. The pair were not close in the slightest so it felt rude to pry. She always thought that Siobhan was just a gold digger and that was the only reason that she was with Roger but she was starting to doubt that now.

When they walked into the office they were met by Mia. Autumn and Mia had swapped today in order for Marjorie and Mia to have time to "bond" as Charlotte had said. Their constant bickering was starting to aggravate her so they were spending the day working together.

"Fancy seeing you two together. Visit cut short?" Mia had to admit seeing them walk in together without either of them looked annoyed seemed very strange.

"She passed out at the other nursery." Marjorie rubbed Siobhan's back sympathetically.

"I'm not surprised you must be so hot in that why would you choose to wear that on a day like this?" the blonde woman's eyes were glued to the floor, she thought of making a snarky remark but she didn't have it in her right now.

Marjorie gave the woman a look, her eyes averting to her neck. She could tell that she was subtly asking if she could show Mia. She thought about it for a moment but decided to let her, surely Mia would understand right? Out of all the people Roger had taken advantage of, she had been trapped by him for the longest time. It felt embarrassing to show people, she thought it was cowardly to show weakness like she had today.

Once Marjorie had shown the red head the mark, she could tell that she instantly understood. Her face dropped the second she saw it. She began to nod her head in acknowledgment. Siobhan couldn't be sure but she swear she could see sadness in her eyes.

"Fucking Roger" the woman didn't think that she had ever seen somebody so angry in her life. Seeing Autumns rage bubbling inside her at the sight of her injury, made her think that was the angriest she had ever seen someone. She was very wrong. Mia looked as if she was about to explode in the very room which they stood in.

"Mia calm down. It's not the time for murder right now okay?" Marjorie understood how the e red head felt but she needed her to calm down before she genuinely committed a crime. Roger was not worth going to prison for. Charlotte needed her, if she got arrested it would ruin them. It took a while but eventually Mia backed down before sitting back in her chair. It may had appeared on the outside that she had called down but on the inside she was ready to burst.

They both gave Siobhan some privacy whilst she got changed. She hated this. She didn't want to look at her body. For the most part she kept her eyes shut, refusing to look at herself. Once she had finished getting changed she felt relieved. She had never been so hot in her life and she felt as if she could actually breathe now. She called out to the two women which were stood waiting outside. As they walked in their eyes immediately darted to the bruises which littered her skin. Their were marks shaped as handprints all over her. Marjorie felt sick. Genuinely sick.

She took a moment before running to the bin and throwing up. Swiftly she apologised before guiding Siobhan to come sit down with her. Mia opted to leave the room before she got any angrier.

"Siobhan... what did he do? You don't have to tell me! I just... I can't believe anyone could do this." her voice was laced with sympathy as she squeezed the other woman's hand.

"I- The past few months when i've returned home he has been... hurting me. And he's been... I told him so many times no but he didn't care. He kept telling me that I needed to be taught a lesson and I could never overpower him so I would just lay there and take it. But I have done so many horrible things in the past, It's just my karma. I deserve it" getting everything off of her chest felt amazing. She had never had anybody to confide in so this moment felt so special to her. Every word that came out of her mouth shocked Marjorie. She knew that Roger was a terrible person but she never truly understood the extent to which he could go. She really needed to check up on Reece, Autumn and Mia sometime soon but Siobhan was her main priority right now.

"I'm so sorry my love and don't you EVER say that you deserve what happened. What that man did to you has nothing to do with karma, he is just a deeply disturbed person and happened to prey on you okay? Yes you have done some inexcusable things but nothing would warrant the treatment you have received. You still have the potential to be any amazing person." those final words hit Siobhan harder than anything else. Nobody had ever given her a chance for redemption or told her that she could be a good person. But the one thing that burdened her mind, she didn't know how.

"Why are you being so nice to me? You could have just left me and sent me home. Forgotten about everything. I don't understand." it genuinely confused her why the woman was taking care of her so dearly after everything she had done.

"It may be hard to believe but I don't actually hate you. And even if I did I would NEVER let anybody be treated in this way. It's unacceptable." she was trying to hard to get Siobhan to grasp the concept that what Roger had done wasn't defendable at any cost.

"Please don't tell anyone. I don't want this to get out. He provides for me you know? He gave me a huge house, he buys me whatever I want. I can't be so ungrateful and ruin his reputation after everything he has done for me" even after everything she felt a pang of guilt for letting herself get found out. She had loved Roger. She really had.

"You cannot possibly think that you are obliged to go back to him. Under no circumstances will I be letting you go back home to him. Do you understand me?" Marjorie's tone was serious, she had to get the message across to her and if this was the only way then it would have to do.

"What exactly would you have me do Marjorie? I have nowhere to go. If i don't go home to him he will track me down and find me. He will just get angrier and angrier, he will kill me you don't get it. I have to go home." Siobhan began to panic as she thought of the possibilities of what her would do to her if she didn't return home tonight. The thought made her shudder violently.

"Listen. You can stay at mine. Reece will be there all night to defend you if he did find you okay. There is no way that either of us is letting him get to you. Please. Don't go home." she was starting to get desperate as she was worrying for her fate if she went home and she didn't even know the full story.

"I couldn't possibly intrude. You don't need to be doing so much honestly" she didn't want to intrude on Marjorie any more than she already had.

"No. You're coming home with me and that's final." at that Siobhan gave up and agreed, she didn't have it in her to keep going back and forth like this. "I promise you, you'll be safe with us"

"Thank you for everything" she was never much of a hugger but she felt it was necessary in this situation. She threw her arms around Marjorie embracing her in a warm hug. She nestled her head in her shoulder and as they sat there holding eachother, she felt safe for the first time in a while.
