She stood there, paralysed and speechless. The sight of the man had taken her ability to move. He stood towering over her, his eyes burning holes through her body.
A million thoughts ran through her head as her heart crashed against her chest. How did he find her? Where had he been all this time? Why had he decided to come for her now? What was he going to do to her? She was pulled from her thoughts by the sound of the man's deep voice.
"Now you are going to listen to me. You are going to walk out of here whether you like it or not. Dead or alive. That decision is up to you. You can come quietly or we can make scene" as he spoke he pushed the blade further into her skin emphasising his point. She knew it would be stupid to try and fight him, she knew from experience that he could very easily overpower her. It hurt her to admit that the only choice she had was to go with him.
"Okay" her voice came out barely a whisper. The man could sense the fear behind her eyes and it made a smirk appear on his face.
He roughly dragged her towards the door, trying to exit the building as quickly as possible. As Siobhan was about to reach the door, her eyes locked with the waitresses. A look of fear and desperation behind her eyes.
It took her a moment to realise the severity of the situation but once she did it was too late. They had both already entered the car and began to driven off. She cursed herself. How did she just sit there and watch that happen? Why didn't she move quicker? Fuck sake Sara. What have you done.
Angrily shoving her in the passenger seat he slammed the door behind her. She felt the car shake at the utter force of the slam. Her entire body was shaking violently and she was on the verge of a panic attack. As much as she tried to stabilise her breathing, her attempts sorely failed.
Roger violently entered the car slamming the keys into the ignition. Every movement caused the blonde to flinch away, pushing her body as far away as she could from the man. He had noticed this and threw his hand towards her and gripped her hair, tugging her back in his direction. She winced, her scalp still sensitive from the numerous times he had pulled at her hair before.
It felt off that the entire car ride was silent. It intimidated her further that he hadn't said anything, she wondered what was going through his mind as he drove. She pondered upon her fate for when they arrived at the destination. Everything that she had worked felt as if it was slowly fading away. She finally had friends for the first time in her life who genuinely loved her and appreciated her. She was working on pushing aside the horrible version of herself and becoming a new person and... Sara. Her mind whirled with thoughts about Sara and their kiss. Would she ever see her again? If she ever escaped Roger's grasp she would run so fast to find her.
They had finally arrived at the house in which so many painful memories had been created. One glance at the house and she began to shudder. The house which once felt like a home to her now felt like torture to return to.
As he ripped her out of the car and dragged her through the front door, she could sense the fire in him reigniting. The moment they entered the house she was thrown to the floor. Her head violently smacked against the wooden flooring of the hallway. She cried out in pain using all of her might to shuffle away from him. He believed this was a game. He found it amusing. There was no possible way that she could get through to him whilst he was in this manic state. She knew this but she had to try.
"Roger please just listen to me. I'm sorry. We can get through this okay? I'll stay with you. I'll follow your rules please..." her voice was laced with desperation as she began to sob. He started to laugh at her desperation which sent chills through the blondes entire body.
"You must think i'm an idiot. Look at my face. Do you know how it felt to be beaten nearly to death because of some insecure stupid little wench? You're not getting out of this Siobhan. There are consequences to your actions." and with that he gripped her hair yet again, dragging her by it up the stairs. He knew how much she cared for her appearance and he knew how sensitive her head had became which made the motion much more enjoyable to him. Watching her struggle to fight his hands off of her brought him joy. Seeing her fail and panic brought a smile to his face.
Once they reached the bedroom she was yet again thrown to the floor. Tears stained her face as she choked on her sobs. She was terrified.
Roger knelt down onto the floor before punching her repeatedly in the face. He punched and punched, remembering when his son had arrived at his home one evening. As he noticed her begin to cough up blood he stopped. He wasn't trying to kill her. Yet.
The man stood up and spat on the ground where she laid groaning in pain. He gave her a swift kick to the stomach causing her to cough blood all over the floor. He kicked her a few more times.
She didn't move. She couldn't. Every time she tried to move every single bone in her body screamed in response. Her gaze remained steady on the cabinet in front of her through the blur of her tears. All she could think of was back to her childhood when she was beaten for loving that girl. Oh how history repeats itself. She felt as if she was cursed, as if this was all she was meant for.
Roger started to walk back towards her and panic rose inside her. It took every ounce of her being to choke out a few words.
"Please... I'm sorry..." it was a struggle to hold her eyes open any longer and she considered just letting herself fall to sleep.
"You can stay there where you deserve. Don't even try and get up" he went to kick her but stopped just to make her flinch. She let out a whine and shook slightly. He laughed and that was the last thing she heard before she let her eyes close.
A single tear fell down her cheek.
