Tell Me- Chapter 20

TUPAC POV

I stand in front of Megan's brownstone with some flowers in my hand. It's been about 3 days since the incident; it's not like I've been avoiding her it's just that I'm not sure... I want her but what do I do with Keisha, she stay in my ear about us getting married and now that we're in New York she's saying how we need to go to the courthouse to get married right away. And I'm not with that. I don't wanna be rushed and I'm feeling rushed.

I knock on the door and I hear her saying "Coming". She opens it as we look at each other.

"Hey"

"Hey...I'm sorry I should've asked now that I think of it instead of showing up. But I wanted to take Golden to see that Monster's Inc movie" I say nervously

"Oh my gosh...you remembered, I didn't think you would..but come in"
"Of course I wasn't going to forget. That's my baby, now where she at?" I ask looking around

Then I hear her sweet voice, "Pac!!!!" as she runs to me

I pick her up hugging her as she lays on my shoulder, "I miss you" she whispers to me

"Can't be cause I missed you more! So much more..." I say putting her down and giving her the flowers

Sticking her whole head into the boutique smelling them; I hope she don't got allergies...

"Are you ready to see Monster's Inc? I am" I say to her as she pulls her head from the flowers nodding

"I can't wait. Let's go!!" She says pulling my hand as she throws the flowers to Megan making me laugh

"Wait don't you wanna say bye to Mommy, and maybe see if she wants to come"
"Oh...oh yeah. Bye Mommy!" she says and begins to pull me again

"Y'all have fun...I'll sit this one out and let it be a time between you two, Y'all can have this time to bond. Plus I got some sketches to catch up on" Megan says

"Alright, well you're gonna miss out but we'll let you know how great the movie is, right Golden?"
"right!"

After purchasing our tickets we walk to the concession stand waiting in line.

"What you want baby girl?"
"Candy...and soda"
"No popcorn?"
"nope"

It's our turn and we walk up and I watch the guy face light up, "YO PAC! Oh my gosh it's so good to see you again, back here! Man we all know you didn't do that to BIG and I'm glad it came out. Man what y'all want it's on us big star"

"Nah man I'mma pay like everyone else, I'm not anyone important. But we'll take... wait what candy you want baby?"

"....air heads"

"Okay. Can we get airheads, a large popcorn and two large sodas...one Pepsi and one sprite" I say

I catch Golden smiling and in shock, I see she didn't think I knew her favorite soda cause I do. I make sure to know everything of my child.

After taking a picture with the guy and writing my autograph on a napkin we get our snacks. We make it to the theater and I help her sit down first then I sit passing her her candy.

"This is great!" She semi shouts as the movie begins to start making me smile

Casually I'll look over at her throughout the movie as she smiles, laugh and even point at the screen in shock of what's happening. I watch as her small little hands slowly and smoothly creep into my popcorn bucket. I smile and ask if she wants some and she nods her head; so I give her the bucket as she literally kills the popcorn... She's just too sweet and adorable.
