TUPAC POV (THE NEXT DAY)

We all sit in the lounge waiting for Suge to come; he called a meeting and we're all here but him.

"Yo we been sitting here for an hour I told my lady I'll be right back. This taking all my damn time" Snoop says looking at us

I nod my head agreeing but of course it falls on deaf ears. These other niggas in here ain't got a voice; they just follow whatever he says to do. Letting me know even more that they'll be quick to take a nigga head off for anything...

"Y'all niggas ready?" We hear Suge ask as he enter into the spot

I look taking him in and I don't know what to say for when he brings G in. All bloody.

Now G is apart of our crew so I'm confused.
"Suge what the hell going on?"
"This mother fucker here betrayed me....betrayed us. Loyalty is what makes us brothers and honesty. This one needs to be taught a lesson for what he did to us. Beat his ass" he says and instantly the rest of the crew goes ape shit on him

Stomping, punching and even hitting with a bat. I stand there watching looking to my left and right seeing Dre and Snoop doing the same. Looking forward there's Suge with a cigar in his mouth looking at me with anger. He claps his hand and the crew gets off him standing up fixing themselves. They're his puppets.

"Why y'all ain't getting y'all hits in? Huh? I said this nigga ain't loyal or honest to any of us and y'all just stand there...makes me wonder are y'all loyal?"

"Suge you know it ain't about that. But you know we don't follow or jump anyone unless it's necessary..." Dre says
"Well this is necessary" Suge says puffing smoke in our faces
"He betrayed you Pac. He set you up to get shot in New York. He set you up. And you trying to save him...you a bitch" he continues on looking at me now

"How you know he did it? How do any of us know he did! Cause I know he didn't! Cause he was with me. So raise up off him!" I shout angry looking at the crew at some are still leaning over him

"Whatever you trying to do Suge stop it. Cause it ain't working" I say staring at Suge, I look around at the crew and think to myself this ain't what it was

This ain't what I wanted to be apart of.
"I'm out of here. I ain't sign up to be apart of some shit like this. I got my lady waiting on me" Snoop says walking out

"I'm out" Dre says too after helping G stand up and follows

I look at Suge then I look at everyone else, shaking my head I walk out the door until I heard

"...he gonna learn"

I definitely need to watch my back. I get home and just stay in my room; I don't feel safe. Cause anything can happen to me at any point and I gotta be ready. 

I look at my phone seeing the picture of Megan and I again and all I can do is think about how I gotta see her before I die.

With my book in hand I start to jot some words,

MEGAN POV

I look in the mirror at myself, dressed in the longest gown I designed. A date. I'm going on a date; and I can't believe it. But it's time, time to move the fuck on and love my best life.

A fellow designer who loved my work and kept asking to hang out, so why not take a chance. It's just dinner. Nothing special, but I am excited about it though.

Not thinking any further about what I have on I start to head out. Getting to the restaurant I text my date that I'm here; and before I can press send he's right in front of me saying he's glad I made it.

Looking up from my phone I smile at him as he open his arms pulling me in for a hug.

As we hug I take in his scent, amazing...
Grabbing my hand he leads me to our table that he already secured for us.

"This is nice. It's so beautiful in here"
"Not as beautiful as you..."
"Oh my gosh; stop it Dame"
"Why? I'm just speaking the truth. You are the most beautiful thing in here and my eyes are only for you"

Instantly getting turned on I cross my legs on that cause I don't know how to even respond to that. Like is he trying to get these draws on the first date.

"So what are you thinking of getting?" I ask to change the topic

"Hmmm....I'm thinking the scallops; with the broccoli and mash potatoes. What are you thinking?"
"I don't know it's so many options"
"Well get whatever you want. It's on me"
"Well okay...I see you"

"I'm serious, you can have anything"
"Anything?"
"Any-thing...."

Keep your fucking legs closed Megan!, I shout to myself; as we pull up to my apartment building. I slightly look over at him to find him already looking at me.

"I had a really great time with you tonight; I hope you did too"
"I did. I definitely did. Thank you for this, I really appreciate it"
"Good...so does that mean that I get to take you out again"
"....maybe" I say smirking

ONE YEAR LATER

"Dame stop!!! I have to focus on this new commercial" I say as he kisses along my neck

We've been dating for about 6 months now; after that date I said for us to take things slow but after hanging out constantly we just found that we're better together. So we're together, and things have been great.

Pac; I don't know what's going on for him and I really don't care. Ma tries to bring him up whenever I talk to her but I just hop over it. Always saying that he's lost and mentally isn't the same. He's scared, paranoid. Well; that's not my problem. But I let her vent her frustrations out.

Going back to my sketches I look down seeing my pager going off, reading 911 from Aaliyah. I quickly jump up going to the phone line and call her, as Dame follows behind me.

"Liyah! What's wrong?"
"Can you come and get me...Robert is here at this party and I'm scared"
"Okay, I'm on my way"

Getting my jacket I completely forget that Dame is here and just focus on getting on sister.
"What's wrong babe?"
"Oh, sorry it's Liyah. I gotta go get her"
"Why?"

"She doesn't feel safe so I'm going to get her"
"Doesn't she have security for that?"
"Dame, that is a sister to me. If she doesn't feel safe I'm going to get her. I don't care whose there"

"Okay my bad babe. I'm sorry. Let me go with you. Let's go get your sister. Together"
