Danny was really starting to hate today. It was nice to be out of the cave for a while but he knew it was all a distraction. Whether it was meant for him or not it was still a distraction. Not to mention his reflection changing and speaking to him.

Barry kept looking at him with worry and guilt. Which was weird, why would he feel guilty towards him? They hadn't know each other long.

"Why do you want to go to Amity Park all of a sudden? I mean we can definitely go but not today. We'd have to ask Batman first."

That sorta made sense. Barry had made plans for the both of them and it wouldn't be right to just ditch them. Why did he want to go to Amity Park all of a sudden? Sure he's wanted to go back ever since he was free but there was no one to go back to. /his parents and sister were dead, he had no idea if his friends were okay or if they were alive. But something in him was urging him to go back to his home town. "I- I don't know... I just know I need to get there now!"

Barry looked the younger hero in the eyes. He knows that look well. The look of foreboding. The fear in the kid's eyes were also concerning. He really should've been talking to Black Canary sooner.

Danny started walking to the nearest mall exit. Barry grabbed his arm to try and stop him. Hem shrugged off the arm and glared at the older male. "Please don't try to stop me. This is something I need to do." He turned invisible and immediately flew away.

"Danny come back!" The speedster reached out again only to feel air. Taking his phone out, he dialed the same number from earlier. "B is going to be mad...."

IMPORTANT LINE BREAK

Arkham's alarms were blaring loudly. The guards were all incapacitated as well as the villains. All except one. A sixteen year old boy with raven black hair and baby blue eyes.

He glanced at the unconscious bodies as he walked through the semi- quiet halls. Heading to the entrance, the teen thought back to how he ended up here in the first place.

It was a normal day in Amity Park. At least it was for the locals. There had only been two ghost attacks that day, one of which was the Box Ghost. The other was Desiree.

Danny found her at a five year old's birthday party when a monster truck appeared and started chasing the birthday boy. He was just about to catch her when Vlad Plasmius showed up.

"Having fun playing hero, Little Badger?"

"Can't you see I'm in the middle of fighting Desiree, Plasmius? I'll kick your butt after."

The smug look on Vlad's face was gone momentarily before it was replaced with a malicious grin. "My dear boy, haven't you realized when a trap has been set for you?"

"What're you-" Something hit Danny's neck and black spots instantly took over his vision.

"Good work distracting him Desiree. Do whatever you want but don't get in my way."

"You don't want to make a wish?"

"You know very well any wish I make with you would be altered in the worst possible way. Now go!"

The genie ghost flew away grumbling to herself. "We'll see about that."

Danny awoke to an air horn going off in his ear. "Owwww! Haven't you ever heard of people with sensitive ears?" He attempted to sit up but realized he couldn't. Panic started to set in. "Why can't I move!?

"Calm down Daniel, you have only been paralyzed. I couldn't risk you breaking free and trashing another of my labs. Its a shame you can still talk though. Time to get down to business."

"What're you gonna do to me? Clone me again? They'll either melt or rebel against you."

"No my dear boy, clones aren't the same as the real thing now are they?" He grabbed a syringe filled with a red liquid. "I'm going to finally make you my son and apprentice."

Danny tried to move away from the oncoming needle but he still couldn't move. "NO GET AWAY FROM ME!"

Desiree flew through the Ghost Zone, still bitter about how Vlad treated her. "If that older halfa doesn't want to make a wish with me then I'll trick him into making one." She was passing by the Clocktower when she saw a ghost everyone considered to be one of the Ancients flying away. "Hmm what do we have here?
I've always wondered what the old man kept in there."

There weren't many items of interest to the genie ghost. She mostly saw different types of clocks and a wall covered in screens that didn't seem to be on at the moment. She was just about to leave when something caught her eye. It was a Fenton thermos. "Why would something like that be here of all places?" On closer inspection Desiree noticed that it was really banged up. "Is anyone in there? If not I'm leaving." The voice that came through was heavily muffled by the canister. "I'm not sure what you said but the only way I could help you is if you wish for it." She wasn't stupid, who or whatever was trapped in that thermos wouldn't be in the Clocktower unless they were extremely dangerous.

It was still muffled but the being in the thermos but Desiree could still tell it was a wish. "So you have wished it, so it shall be..." Whatever the wish was it was immensely powerful. "I have never felt such power from a single wish before! What in the Ancients did you wish for?"

Instead of getting a response the thermos burst open and a green mist emerged. It started to take form but it wouldn't hold. The mist seemed angry about this but started to leave the tower. Desiree called after the mist. "You're welcome!" Now that she felt more powerful, Desiree decided to pay a visit to a certain halfa.

It was pure luck that the younger halfa flew through the older's portal right as the genie ghost was searching for it. Phantom seemed injured and pissed off, but she didn't care about that at the moment. She flew in just in time to hear Plasmius complain about the stubborn teenager. He was glaring at another broken lab that was beyond repair. "Sometimes I wish that boy would see the bigger picture and know its only a matter of time before everyone he cares for will only betray him in the end."

Desiree smirked, she didn't have to trick Plasmius after all. "So you have wished it, so it shall be!"

Vlad whirled around. "No wait-"

The teen grabbed his head in pain, it was a mistake to think about his past. Besides was it really his past?
