Chp.9⟩ The Angel Dust

Dear Diary,
Today we woke up to demons crowding at our doorstep, looking for shelter from "The Infected", led by none other than Carmilla Carmine. We've been taking in as many demons as we can, and we're trying to take care of them and find the cure at the same time.

In about a week, the infected cannibals have spread in the entire west side of the pentagram. A warning has been issued to all demons and access to other rings has been completely cut off [by that I mean the elevator has been completely destroyed] Any demons with signs of infection have been left on the streets. The hotel stands as the final beacon of hope for the denizens of hell.

I don't remember the last time I slept; me, Lucifer and Charlie have been working on a cure the whole time. I think that maybe when the angels came down to fight us, they spread their blood here. There seems to be nothing that can destroy the angel blood and the demon blood too. Even if it does work, will it revert everyone back?

So far we've observed 5 stages:
1- A high fever where temperatures can reach up to 102°. It is essential to destroy the infected at this stage.

2- The Infected seem to get strangely nice to everyone around them, almost as if they ate a whole bag of sugar. They will be happy to assist you in any task possible. At this stage the victim will expirence extreme body pain.

3- Small feathers and eyes will start to grow on the victim. They begin talking to themselves. In this stage they believe that they'll get into heaven any time now. They speak about a beautiful place, one where everyone is happy [this is presumed to be Heaven]

4- In the final stage, the host has completely lost themselves, becoming a zombie. Small angel wings grow where their eyes are meant to be. They grow big enough to cover their eyes. In this stage they become hostile, attacking everyone around them. They don't loose the ability to speak however, saying that their actions are just trying to get everyone into heaven. They still retain the ability to speak and their memories.

We've locked him in his room.

Angel blood can't infect other angel blood, so me, Lucifer and theoretically, Charlie should be immune to this. I can't imagine what she's going through. The only reason we opened this hotel and fought the exorcists was because we wanted to save hell. Now everyone here is doomed to die.
