"So,do we have everything?", Lucifer asked, adjusting the bag onto his shoulders. "Yeah, I've triple-checked everything. We should be good.", Charlie replied, checking off things on her notepad. She placed it down and took a deep breath. "What about her?", she asked. "Charlie...don't worry. She's a in protective bubble and nothing will happen to her.", Lucifer replied, placing a hand on his daughter's shoulder. "Hey, I know how you feel", he said looking away, "but Emily and Pentious need you, and we are going to help them." Charlie gave a determined nod.

They opened the door and set off on their journey. It had been a long time since Charlie had stepped foot outside the couple rooms she visited. She could see the hotel, far off in the distance.

They trudged through the desolate streets, keeping an eye out for any infected. Charlie's thoughts occasionally drifted back to Vaggie.

"Be careful. We don't wanna attract any zombies.", Lucifer cautioned. "How did you and Vaggie do this the last time?" "Well, we just flew over most of the crowded parts and snuck around through alleyways. It saved us a lot of time." Lucifer nodded in response and motioned for them to keep going.

They walked for ages, though it had been four hours at best. "Dad–can we sit for a while? I'm getting tired...", Charlie said. Up head, she spotted a building she thought she would never see again.

"There! We can stay there!", Charlie said, pointing to their left. "Rosie's Euphorium?", Lucifer read aloud.

They both cautiously entered the old building. The whole place was falling apart, with bits of old food and glass scattered around everywhere.

"This place brings back so many memories.", Charlie thought to herself. She remembered how all the cannibals had agreed to help her fight against heaven–it seemed impossible but it couldn't have been done without them. "I wish I could've helped them too.", she thought.

Suddenly, a faint grumbling noise came from behind some doors. "What was that!?", Lucifer said, alerted. Charlie cautiously readied her weapon.

A large zombie demon appeared, followed by smaller zombie imps. "Uh oh, that's a lot of zombies.."

Charlie readied her dagger but stumbled backward, overwhelmed.

The demon zombie swung its massive fist, sending Charlie crashing into the wall.

Lucifer leapt into action, sword flashing. "Charlie, get up!"

Charlie struggled to rise, but the imp zombies pinned her down.

Desperation fueled her transformation. Charlie's eyes blazed red as she unleashed her demon mode.

With newfound strength, Charlie shredded the imp zombies and tackled the demon zombie.

Lucifer joined the fray, striking true. "Hold on, Charlie!"

Together, they pummeled the demon zombie until it collapsed.

Charlie's demon mode faded, leaving her battered and exhausted.

Lucifer rushed to her side. "Charlie, are you okay?"

Charlie coughed, wincing. "Y-yeah...thanks, Dad."

Lucifer helped Charlie stand. "We need to get moving. We'll be there in a while. Are you hurt?" "No dad, I'm fine. Just a bruise.", Charlie replied quickly.

They quickly left that building, their sights set straight ahead. Only a couple hours. "Then we can rescue Emily and Pentious, contact Heaven, and hopefully, do something about this.", Charlie thought.

The streets near the hotel were almost desolate,t he crumbling remains of zombies scattered everywhere. Most of them had fallen apart overtime.

Finally, after what felt like ages, they were here. Standing at the gates of the hotel...
