The tour bus was painfully silent when I opened my eyes. I assumed the boys must have already gone to soundcheck and although it was something I hated missing, I appreciated Emerson letting me sleep. We had been on the road at least twelve hours since the last show and I wanted nothing more than sleep. I guess I should fill you in on what had become of my friendship with Palaye. Emerson and I hit it off fast as friends, and quickly after I became friends with Remington and then Sebastian. We kept in touch as they played shows in two cities close to mine. Ultimately, Emerson had convinced their management to hire me full-time as the concert organizer. So, that meant constant touring. We are currently in Europe and to be honest, I wasn't even sure where to be exact. Sitting up in my bunk I stretched out going to see if Emily and Larisa happened to stay behind. The three of us had practically become sisters, and I was more than grateful for them.

"Of course, they went," I mumbled to myself walking over to the counter where the smell of fresh coffee was. A small note was laid beside the pot. The perfectly scripted cursive handwriting read.

"𝖂𝖊𝖓𝖙 𝖙𝖔 𝖘𝖔𝖚𝖓𝖉 𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖈𝖐. 𝕭𝖊 𝖇𝖆𝖈𝖐 𝖎𝖓 𝖍𝖆𝖑𝖋 𝖆𝖓 𝖍𝖔𝖚𝖗. 𝕴𝖋 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖜𝖆𝖐𝖊 𝖇𝖊𝖋𝖔𝖗𝖊 𝖜𝖊 𝖗𝖊𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖓 𝖌𝖊𝖙 𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖉𝖞. 𝖂𝖊'𝖗𝖊 𝖌𝖔𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖙𝖔 𝖑𝖚𝖓𝖈𝖍 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖒𝖚𝖘𝖊𝖚𝖒."

Smiling softly I laid the note down pouring myself a glass of coffee. His handwriting was always so magnificent. It was thoughtful of him to leave me a handwritten note and not a text, but he always did stuff like that. Even for Remy and Seb. Although he did it more for Shy when they dated. I sighed softly pulling out my phone as I scrolled Twitter shaking my head at all the ignorance commenting and mentioning me with accusations of me being the reason behind Emerson and Shy splitting. Like, get with the program guys. I'm not the one he cheated on her with. Yes, I adore him and have feelings for him, but I would have never acted upon it because I loved and respected Shy way too much. This was so old news. I wished they would move on, but the Royal Council was obsessive like that, and after all, they believed I had hurt one of "their girls." Don't get me wrong. I love the council, and most of them had been amazing enough to get to know me and my work for the band. Most of them know the truth and that I would have never betrayed Shy like that, but a few, oh how a few just insisted it was me. Many of them claim they've seen the way Emerson views me. He didn't view me any other way he did the other crew members. I was the one who always made heart eyes to myself when I saw him but in public? I kept it professional.

After finishing my coffee, I stood, grabbing some clothes before hitting the showers before anyone could return. That was one thing I hated about sharing the tour bus with a bunch of men and their partners. Everyone was a fucking bathroom hog, but at least I knew I would have a hot shower with being the first one in. As I was finishing up I could hear everyone piling back onto the bus. Glancing in the mirror one last time I give myself a nod of approval before walking out to greet the others.

"You're ALIVE!" Remington yelled at me.

"Of course I am?" I chuckled shaking my head at him.

"Glad the shower is free. I'm going to get ready." Emerson called out as he walked towards the bathroom.

"You look pretty today. What's the occasion?" Larisa smiled looking me up and down.

"I thought we had a lunch date planned?" I asked looking at her confused.

"First I am hearing of it. Let me ask Sebastian." She smiled softly walking down the hall and to her bunk. Remington and Emily had disappeared to their bunk and I was left sitting at the table confused as to why the hell Emerson would tell me to get dressed up only for Larisa to tell me that they had no plans planned for their evening before the show.

An hour after he had entered the bathroom, Emerson emerged. His normal attire finished off with his pirate hat which I adored so much. He wore light makeup, mainly eyeliner and shadow. Much less over the top like Remington, but enough to make his beautiful eyes shine. I looked him over blushing a bit to myself.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

"I am. But Larisa said no one had plans for lunch so I'm a bit confused." I admit.

"They don't." He smiled. "But we do."

I looked at him stunned a bit. Surely he meant as friends though. Right? I shook my head a bit. Yeah, he meant as friends. He never felt anything for me as I have with him. He was far too perfect for me and I was not his type. "Yes, I'm ready."

Smiling he led the way out of the bus and to the rental we all shared. He held the door open for me rushing me in as a few fans spotted us getting in. I rest my head on the chair sighing a laugh when he gets in laughing like a man that he had barely missed the crazy fans.
