- [Luffy's Devil Fruit] -

Note: Before you read the story, please read this first. As you can see, about how Luffy made Shanks act surprised of Luffy ate the Gum Gum devil fruit and obtained it, it has two different scenes. One from Shanks' perspective and the other is Luffy's perspective. Possible I may mix two perspectives.

As Soph snapped her fingers, it shows a video, but it wasn't played. Others were confused why it is not playing. Soph then questioned the others first.

"Have you all ever thought how Luffy got the Gum-Gum Fruit powers?"

Others suddenly ponders on how Luffy got it, except that one red haired and his fellow mates at the back. Rayleigh sensed that Shanks knows about it but have no urge to ask.

"Well then, this is how Luffy actually got his Devil Fruit. I'll play it now."

As Soph snapped her fingers, the video then plays. It shows Shanks and Young Luffy at Party's Bar in Goa Kingdom, where Makino is working. Everyone's eyes saw Shanks looked young than now (He is still handsome as ever back then until now) and noticed Luffy is still a child back then. Others seems to also notice that Shanks have his other arm before he lost it.

"Oh? I remember that place. Oi Makino! I miss your booze!" Shanks grinned.

Makino chuckled softly.

"Geez Captain..." Benn grinned.

"I see Luffy looks young in that video..." Robin stated.

"Hm? I noticed that Shanks wears Luffy's straw hat, is this before Luffy met me and Sabo?" Ace questioned.

"Ah yes, it is way back then. This is the time Luffy still don't have his devil fruit powers and also the straw hat is owned by Shanks back then." Soph answered.

"Wait! Meaning we are going to see how Luffy got his devil fruit?" Nami added while being shocked.

"And probably how that brat got that straw hat then." Whitebeard replied.

"I remember that Shanks was the reason how Luffy wanted to become a pirate... He kept nagging and talking about that to me and Sabo as I remember..." Ace stated.

Garp got his eyes widened and shouted at the back.

"WHAT?! SO IT WAS THAT RED HAIRED ALL ALONG?!"

Shanks laughed and raised his eyebrow while looking at Garp.

"Bahahaha! What did I do? Anchor is the one who kept telling me that he wants to be a pirate."

"Oi this is not the time for a fight! We have a video to react into!" Heather shouted.

"Uhm Heather-" Soph said but then cut off by Heather.

"React!" The owl shouted.

Young Luffy started speaking to Shanks, "Then take me to your next voyage, Shanks! I want to be a pirate too!"

"HE LOOKS SO ADORABLE!!!" The brothers and Boa said loudly.

"Luffy is indeed really cute when he's young!" Yamato replied as he chuckled.

"When will they stop reacting too much when they see Luffy...?" Koala questioned.

"Just let them Koala. They just miss him." Ivankov said.

"Oh well..." Koala replied.

Shanks laughed at Young uffy and teased him, "As if you could ever be a pirate!" "Why not?!" Luffy shouted. Yasopp then spoke, "Luffy, just being a good swimmer doesn't mean you'd make a good pirate."
