One Piece React

- [Before Reaction 2: Brotherly Reunion] -

Note: This is the time when Soph and Heather were still in their room and taking a short break and had a conversation. This chapter holds outside of Soph and Heather's POV and the time before they rush out of the stage with curiosity of the commotion happened in the last chapter.

As Soph took a deep breath after her explanation of Gear 4. She told the others to wait for her again as she need to go to her room and take a glass of water as her explanation feels like her mouth is dehydrating from speaking too much. While the two hosts were having a short break, some had a fun conversation to each other, meanwhile the others rest in their seats. Ace stood up and decided to have a conversation with the Straw Hat crew.

"Since we are waiting for Soph to come back, let's have a conversation, shall we?" Ace grinned.

"Hm! We sure can have a conversation indeed." Nami smiled.

"Is there anything you wanted to tell or ask us about?" Robin questioned.

Ace felt a tinge of regret and took a deep breath, as he is prepared for the moment. The latter wanted to know its answer for so long, and finally spoke.

"How is Luffy...? What happened after I..." Ace gritted his teeth and feeling hesitant to continue.

The Straw Hat crew members have fallen silent after Ace mentioned about Luffy after the war. He doesn't know what happened after he died that day, despite the tension bringing up to them, he must know. He couldn't forget how much he left Luffy and let the poor young brother witness the older brother's passing. None of the Straw Hat knows when or how to start the conversation about such topic since that was the time, they all got separated and weren't aware of the war.

On the other side, Law was taking a drink until he heard Ace and the Straw Hats' conversation. He decided to sneakily go closer to them. Law heard about the question Ace said, so he decided to speak up.

"Strawhat-ya managed to survive after that war. Thanks to Jinbei, he and Stawhat-ya reached out in my Polar Tang and escaped. His injuries were heavily severe, but thanks to that devil's luck, it was shocking that he managed to recover."

Ace and the Straw Hats eyes were widened to the information Law told them about Luffy's situation in the past, but also relieved after.

"I already know that none of you knows about that situation." Law replied.

"I just remember... What happened to you all when Luffy was in that war? I clearly remember that you all were not there. It was just him alone." Ace asked the Straw Hat crew.

Nami was the first one who felt regretful and had so much guilt. She then answered.

"Luffy and us... Got separated..."

"Separated?" Ace feeling confused.

"When we arrived at Saobody, we encountered one of the Seven Warlords, and it was Bartholomew Kuma. He used his devil fruit, which led the separation." Robin spoke with a serious expression.

"Kuma? Why did he do that?" Ace asked.

"We do not know the reason... But it all makes sense to me that possible it is a way for us to become stronger for the New World." Robin added as her crosses her arms.

"We had a big regret that we didn't know Luffy was in trouble and in that war... We weren't aware of such war happening!" Chopper trembles and slowly tearing.

"And Luffy seeing a brother dying is painful! But what is really painful for us... Is that we as a crew, aren't there to help him!" Usopp added while clenching his fist.
