YOU TOOK A PUFF of your cigarette, blowing smoke out into the air. "looks like someone hung around shoko too much." you turned to look at suguru, who was approaching you.

"it helps take the edge off.." you mutter. before you could place it back onto your lips, suguru took the cigarette and put it out. you furrowed your eyebrows in response.

"n/n, i can't have you harming that body of yours.." he spoke as he hugged you from behind, placing his head on your shoulder. you glanced at him, a pout visible on his features.

"for someone who killed a bunch of people as a teen, you sure do care a lot about me hurting myself" you told him as you broke free of his grasp and started walking away.

suguru followed you. "i care a lot about you, n/n. no amount of evil in me will change that" he explained. you hummed in response, entering suguru's room.

"if i didn't mean that, why would i take you in now?" he asked as you flopped onto the bed. "you could be tricking me. i am in a binding vow with you, after all" you mutter, getting comfortable in the soft blankets.

suguru kicked off his sandals and sat in bed next to you. you always looked to peaceful whenever you were relaxed..

you unconsciously moved your head onto his lap. suguru chuckled. "you hold what i did against me, yet you still use me as something to lay on" he teased as he played in your [hair color] locks. "it's a force of habit, asshole" you said, looking up at him.

"so cruel, n/n! i've been nothing but generous!" suguru placed a hand over his heart, seemingly hurt. you let out a small laugh. "and you called me sensitive.." you joked, reaching your hand up to his hair.

"i never noticed how long it got" you told him. "you wanted me to grow it out, no? 'it'd be fun to style,' you said" suguru replied, smiling. "damn, i used to be so..soft back then" you said as you began to retract your hand.

however, suguru grabbed it and placed it on his cheek. his hand was on top of yours, keeping it there. "yes, i'd have to agree..i miss those times..i missed this.." he said softly as he relished in the skin-to-skin contact.

you didn't say anything and simply looked at him. his expression of neediness made it difficult for you to turn him away. with each moment you spent with him, it was harder to remember that this was the same guy who murdered over a hundred people.

suguru looked down at you, releasing your hand. he seems to have read your expression like he always does; you weren't really surprised anymore.

"there are some things i need to handle, n/n. make sure to get some proper rest" he said. you moved your head onto a pillow, allowing suguru to get up.

he put on his sandals and made his way towards the bedroom door. he paused for a moment and turned to look at you. "i.." he began. suguru then shook his head. "sweet dreams, n/n" he said before walking out.

you sighed as you stared up at the ceiling, trying to drift off to sleep like you originally planned. it was especially difficult, considering that suguru's actions and words floated around in your head.

you eventually drifted to sleep about ten minutes later after once again finding comfortable in suguru's blankets.
