When Will You Realize I Love You?

Chapter 6

"Ok, now, we should stop neglecting Lela. we should do something with her."

He nodded.

"Ok, how about a movie?"

"Ok with me."

I texted her about it.

"She said ok. we're going to see 'the best of me' with her."

Tony nodded. "okay. that's fine by me."

I nodded and we went to our classes.

By the end of the day, I was so tired.

"Lela, were going to see the best of me tonight."

"Ok. that's great."
She's been on her phone all day.

But I'm a good friend, and I'll let her have her privacy.

"It's at five."

"K."

We met up at the movie theater.

But throughout the entire movie, Lela was texting someone named jace according to her phone.

"Ok, I tried to leave it, but you just won't put the fucking thing down."

I plucked her phone straight out of her hands and put it in my back pocket that was by Tony.

"What?! That's my phone!"

"Lela, you know you can't have phones on in the movie theater."

We silently watched the rest of the movie, and Lela was sobbing her eyes out at the end.

Tony and I shared a glance, then looked back at lela.

"Ok, it's alright. it's just a movie sweetie."

I said comforting Lela.

"Thanks."

"For?"
"Taking my phone so I could capture that beautiful movie."

I smiled at her. and handed her her phone back.

"Thanks."

We went our separate ways, and I went straight to bed after saying goodnight out the window to Tony.

"Night."

"Night."

And I fell asleep.
