Hi there!This is my new story. I don't know how long it will be, but we will see. It will definitely be quite long.If you haven't checked out my other long story "Hijacked Hero", I would be happy if you do so. This one is already completed.
_____________At the age of eight, a boy called Izuku Midoriya disappeared. It happened on a day like any other. As usual, he had been at school. As usual, he was ostracized, insulted and even beaten. Everyone watched, no one did anything, not even the teachers - so it was business as usual.
All because he was different from the other children in his class. Even different from the children in the whole school. No one there was like him: quirkless.
A circumstance for which Izuku could do nothing. He was born that way.
A diagnosis which had broken him for the first time at the age of four and destroyed his dream. He had wanted to become a hero, but everyone told him he couldn't do it without a quirk.A flaw in a world full of superheroes. For some, even an eyesore.
Like almost every day, Izuku went home crying because his former best friend had targeted him again that day and burned him with his powerful quirk for everyone's amusement.
He walked the same way through the park which he had been walking for years. But, although everything was as usual, something unusual happened that day. Izuku never reached the end of the park.
On this day, when everything had been as usual, Izuku never arrived home.
He had disappeared.
There was no sign of what had become of him.
The police assumed he had run away or jumped off a building somewhere - not unusual for quirkless people. After a short time, they stopped the search due to a lack of leads. After a year, the boy was presumed dead. The declaration of his death was merely a formality and they had to wait for the deadline to pass.
Only two people had their doubts. Only two people missed Izuku.
One of them was his mother Inko, who was still looking for her beloved son years later. She spent every spare minute looking for him. In her neighborhood, she was considered a lost cause now. A woman who could not cope with the loss of her child and therefore fled from reality.
So it was four years later when she was out alone on a rainy night looking for Izuku. The thick veil of rain and the darkness made it difficult to make out her surroundings, but she bravely soldiered on. In the deep puddles on the road, the driver of a van lost control of his vehicle.
Inko had no chance and died at the scene of the accident.
The other and therefore last person to miss Izuku - even if he rarely admitted it openly - was a boy who regretted what he had done. Who wanted nothing more than to have the opportunity to apologize to his best friend.
~~~~~
Six years after Izuku's disappearance, a new vigilante emerged who made a name for himself within a few months. Two more years later, he had become one of the most wanted vigilantes in the country. This self-proclaimed fighter for justice remained hidden and no one could say exactly what he looked like. He not only kept a certain underground hero with a chronic lack of sleep on his toes, but also an entire police station. They would soon be joined by a hero who was better known for being in the spotlight than for flying over deserted alleyways at night.
The name of this vigilante was Zero.
