POV Hitoshi
It was definitely too early to get up. No matter what time it was, it was definitely too early. It always was when Hitoshi finally slept. A muffled humming sounded from the side.
Denki grumbled to himself half asleep and buried himself deeper into his embrace. Hitoshi looked at his sleeping boyfriend's face. They had finally winter holidays and could enjoy their free time together.
There was another unpleasantly loud buzzing.
"Toshiii." Denki's face was contorted. "That's yours. Turn it off."
Only now did he realize it was his cell phone, lying on Denki's bedside table and demanding his attention. Hitoshi reached for it and wanted to turn it off. However, when he saw his dad had tried to call him and had sent a message immediately afterwards, he became suspicious. Had something happened to one of his fathers while they were at work? Why else would they call in the middle of the night ... oh, it was just before noon. So maybe it wasn't an emergency after all.Nevertheless, the uneasy feeling remained when he opened the chat.
Dad: Good morning Toshi, time to get up and come home. There's something to talk about.
The teenager grumbled. He had wanted to spend the whole day with Denki in his bed. He ran his hand over his face and groaned in annoyance.
Toshi: Morning Dad, let Denki and me wake up first, then we'll come.
Dad: Kaminari can't come to visit today. Please come alone.
This was getting more and more cryptic and annoying at the same time. Hitoshi grumbled a little louder this time.
"Toshiii, I want to sleep," Denki whined with his eyes closed.
"Sorry, Denks, my dad's being mysterious again."
Denki opened one eye. "Dadzawa-badass-motherfucker-underground-hero-style?"
Hitoshi snorted. "That's right."
"What does he want?"
"He wants me to come home, even tried to call," Hitoshi replied.
"Give me fifteen minutes in the bathroom, then we can go."
He grimaced. "That's just it. He insists I come alone and not bring you."
"But why? I thought Dadzawa finally liked me."
"Since when does he like loud blondes?" Hitoshi teased.
Denki puffed out his cheeks in offense. "He married one himself. There's no louder blonde than Mic. So he should love me."
"Oh, now my love isn't enough for you, you want my dad too?"
"Ewww! Don't say it like that, Toshi." Denki grimaced cutely, which made Hitoshi laugh.
His cell phone buzzed again.
Dad: When are you here? We have plans for today and I think it would be a good idea if you came with us.
He pressed a kiss to Denki's forehead. "Duty calls, I'll get back to you as soon as I know what's going on."
Toshi: I'll be there in thirty minutes.
~~~~~
Still not fully awake, Hitoshi stood in front of his front door, struggling with the key which refused to hit the keyhole. He took a sip from the thermo mug in his other hand and hoped the coffee would finally work its magic.
He managed to open the door and shuffled into the house. There he took off his shoes and headed towards the living room. His dad was talking to someone who wasn't his papa. He became curious as to who the visitor was.
