800 years ago:

A battle between the Amazons and the army of Ares, the God of War, is on the verge of conclusion. The Amazons have gotten the upper hand and are successfully breaking through Ares' army. A tall warrior with ginger hair in a long ponytail is leading the ranks. Her name is Artemis of Bana-Migdall.

Artemis: "Push harder sisters!"

A tall figure then appears from the back. With dark metal armor and an equally menacing mask, Ares breaks through. He powers through the ranks, sacrificing his men in order to pace through the Amazons. Artemis sees the danger and helps out her sisters. She and Ares lock in combat and she fights ferociously. But Ares overpowers her and stabs her leg with a sword. Artemis refuses to give up and fights on

Ares: "Your courage has always been admirable Artemis. It's a shame you left for tribe for Hippolyta's. You could've prospered under me. Your death will be a showcase of wasted potential. But killing you will give me great pleasure, after all, you are the ally of my enemy"

Before Ares can even draw his sword, a golden lasso suspends his arm. He looks down and instantly knows who it is but looks back anyway. A tall woman with black hair in a messy bun stands brave. In a red and gold armor with a tiara, stands Queen Hippolyta.

Hippolyta: "Anyone woman who is my ally is my sister"

Ares smirks "I wondered when you'll arrive Hippolyta"

Hippolyta stands firm: "Your crimes will come to an end tonight, the Amazonian's mission of peace will strive for a new high. The God of War's reign will be no more and the wrath of men shall halt!"

Ares smirks again: "The longevity of our war has not changed your overconfidence. No amount of courage or weaponry is a match for my power. I shall run my blade through your veins and shower the grass with your blood. Just like what I did to Phillippus"

Hippolyta snarls and uses the lasso to pull Ares towards her whilst she scratches his armor with her blade. They engage in fierce combat with both warriors wounding and clashing one another. Hippolyta damages Ares' mask and it shatters, revealing the true monster's face. Ares is no match for Hippolyta's skills and finds himself under the magic of the lasso. Hippolyta runs her blade down Ares' shoulder and knees his chest to break his ribs. She catches her breath and points her sword at Ares' neck

Hippolyta: "A true Amazon always finds her success. You have taken a lot from me- my wife, my sisters, my home but as long as there is even one Amazon still breathing, you will always lose"

Hippolyta proceeds to kill Ares till a bright cloud appears and a lighting strike disarms Hippolyta. It's Zeus

Zeus: "Do not dare kill my son!"

Hippolyta stands her ground

Hippolyta: "Your son is responsible for the deaths of many, his destruction has turned the world back. He is the reason the birds don't sing in the morning or why the innocents live in fear! I cannot allow this to continue"

Another bright light appears, it's Hera

Hera: "Hippolyta, my child, I can understand the anger you bear. But the killing of a god goes against the policies of Mount Olympus. His life will be spared, but he shall not go unpunished"

Ares is then binded by chains around his wrists and neck

Hera: "The loss of your wife and sisters is something I and the other goddesses have shed tears over. Our policies are peculiar but we are bound by our laws which affect the Earth you walk on. Ares will live but he shall be a slave to Hades. He will not be allowed to break free and his wrath will come to and end. Your bravery shall be rewarded Hippolyta. You and your sisters will live in an island of Paradise, Themyscira, where the breeze will blow your hair in comfort, the touch of the warm sands will bring you joy, the flora and fauna shall never bore your eyes. You have lost many compatriots, which is why I shall create the Well of Souls. Many women have died at the hands of men, and they deserve a second chance. These women will be reborn as Amazons and shall thrive under your rule on the island. I shall also reward you with your greatest desire"

The ground and clay start to move near Hippolyta's feet

Hera: "Open your palms Hippolyta"

Hippolyta does this and the clay moulds into a shape. Blood from Hippolyta's battle wounds, hair from Hippolyta head and a single tear drop from Hippolyta's eye mix in with the clay. The clay forms into a shape of a baby, a young daughter is born. The infant girl starts to cry. Upon seeing her new daughter, Hippolyta smiles and cries too. She rocks and holds her baby, stopping her from crying. Hippolyta looks up to see the other goddesses bless the baby. The other Amazons walk near her. Ares, who is still bound, tries to attack Hippolyta but the chains stop him. Hippolyta shields her daughter away from him

Ares: "You think your sisters and daughter are safe? I will return Hippolyta and I shall make this clear, your daughter will suffer the same fate as your deceased wife. The Paradise Island you look forward to living in will turn out just like your previous home"

Ares begins to sink to the underworld

Ares: "I will have my revenge, my purpose on this Earth will continue, no goddess or woman can stop me!"

Hippolyta sees Ares sink to the ground and his army sink too. Artemis limps to Hippolyta and rests her hand on her shoulder. The baby begins to giggle and Artemis smiles. Hippolyta notices this

Hippolyta: "Is that a smile Artemis?"

Artemis giggles too

Hippolyta: "A smile and a giggle one after the other? Are you really Artemis or am I getting tricked by a purple haired witch?"

Artemis then leans on Hippolyta and stares at the baby. Hippolyta shows her baby off to the other Amazons. One asks "my Queen, have you thought of the name of the new princess"

Hippolyta then looks up at the clouds and sees the clouds break to show a full moon. She smiles and looks back at her baby

The Amazons then arrive at their new home Themyscira, the island is exactly as Hera described. Kangaroos jump across the field. Birds sing. The trees sway. The beaches splash with the sea. The Well of Souls is located underneath a rich palace and women of a wide range of ages come out. Mostly adult women but some girls too. A blonde girl comes out looking confused, an Amazon meets her and asks her name. The girl replies 'Kasia'. At the same time, another blonde girl appears and announces her name to be Mala. Hippolyta sits on a cliff with the baby on her lap

Hippolyta: "Welcome to your new home Diana"

Hippolyta kisses Diana on her forehead and takes her into the palace
