Yn's pov -
My eyes were staring at the deep and vaste ocean which was laid before me. It was beautiful.
The evening sky was a canvas of deepening indigo, with streaks of dark clouds which slowly gathering on the horizon. The air was thick with humidity, carrying the scent of salt and the promise of an impending storm. Gentle waves lapped against the shore, their rhythm a soothing contrast to the tension in the air.
The beautiful night of this island.
It was the night of rain.
I stood near the edge of the shoreline, my heart pounding in my chest, each beat echoing louder in the stillness of the night.
Obviously, Taehyung was standing behind me.
My breath came in quick, shallow bursts as I tried to steady myself, my mind reeling from the accidental touch of Taehyung's hand all over my sensitive spots.
His fingers had brushed against my skin, igniting a trail of sensation that left me both breathless and...... yearning.
If he would teach me shooting like that I would be dead before pulling the trigger.
The wind began to pick up, rustling the leaves of the nearby palm trees and sending a shiver through my body.
I held the fabric of my dress due to nervousness.
I could feel the electricity in the air, the static charge that often precedes a storm. The sky overhead was growing darker, the first few drops of rain mingling with the sea breeze, cool and refreshing against my flushed skin.
"Princess,"
My eyes closed as he called me again. He was close, too close.
I could feel his presence behind me, his warmth cutting through the chill of the night.
