-three days later

almost like clockwork the morning day repeated itself with the alarm blaring in my hears, and like i do every other day i groaned and slammed my hand down on the button to stop this irritating blaring noise.

i remember i had the championship today and got up to grab my teams shirt and volleyball shorts. i shuddered when i got out of my covers due to being freezing.

i was super excited about the game, not only because i had befriended most of the team's players but also because i got picked to be captain, and even tho i was a libero due to my hight i got to play in all sets.

being as quick as possible i took a short shower and putted on my uniform, right after i did a cute but simple hairstyle that consisted on two small braids in a ponytail with the rest of my hair.

after i left the bathroom i opened my curtains and saw that walker had left his window open and saw him going towards his wardrobe and taking of his shirt.

"holy shit" i muttered as i blushed and turned away from the scene before walker noticed me being a creep and starring at him.

picking up my bag I placed my water bottle inside it as well as something's i could or was going to use for todays game as well as putting a new york hoddie over my uniform.

"hey pepper! good morning!" i heard a tired morning voice say behind me.

"oh, hi seaweedbrain! tired much?" I laughed when i turned around and saw him supporting himself agains his table that was beside the window.

"yeah, slept great, even wanted to sleep more but i couldn't cause of your game" walker said giving me a small smile.

"you know you don't have to go right? it's just a game, if you're tied you probably should go back to sleep walk" i said trying to hide being happy cause of his determination to go to my game.

"NO, i mean, no, i can deal with a little sleepiness" he said rather quickly.

"alright then see you later seaweadbrain" i laughed after grabbing my bag and going out of my room to go downstairs.

"hi phee, how are you sweetie?" my mom said when she spotted me going in the kitchen.

"hi mom, good morning" i said as i walked over and hugged her "i'm fine, really excited actually"

"that's great phee" she said with a smile "here, i made you some breakfast"

"thanks mom" i said sitting down on the stool in front of the island.

after eating my breakfast we heard a nock on the door so i got up and opened the door to see leena, walker, mr and mrs scobell, as well as tanner, all standing on the doorway.

"hi guys!" i said happily.

"hi phelia, how are u bae?" leena said going forward and giving me a hug.

"just fine, really excited for the game" i said as i stepped back to let the scobell's pas through my door.

"hi pepper" walker said dabbing me.

"hey walk" i said back.

when i greeted all the other family members my mom appeared and started talking to the other two parents.

i led walker, leena and tanner to the living room and we sat down as we talked about todays game.

"i heard you got to be captain?" tanner said.

"oh yeah! even though i'm new i still was captain back in my old team, they figured i should me captain in this one too" i said with a smile.

we talked till we had to leave for the game and they wished me good luck and that they would meet me there.
