ONE MONTH [JOONGDUNK]

Chapter 4.

Author's POV

Dunk woke up in the morning with a terrible cold. He was now regretting his decision of running in the rain yesterday.

Why am I so dumb?
I could have just given him the umbrella and waited for the rain to stop.
Why did I have to run in the rain?

He didn't want to get out of his bed but he thought it would leave a bad impression on Joong if he didn't go today as today Joong had an important event.

P'Jack had already informed Dunk about today's event. Usually P'Jack accompanies Joong but today he asked Dunk.

He somehow dragged himself out of the bed and took a shower.

It made him feel a little better.

Dunk was too lazy to make breakfast so he just toasted some bread and scrambled some eggs to make a simple breakfast.

After the breakfast he took some medicines and hoped it would work or atleast help him hold up until the event ends.

He had to go to Joong's place as they were going to the event together.

*Time skip*

Dunk was waiting for Joong outside his place.

It has been 10 minutes since he have reached here but he didn't dare to call Joong so he was just waiting for him to show up.

Joong came 10 minutes later.

They were taking Joong's car but Dunk was the one driving.

Dunk usually don't have any issues with driving but today because he was a little sick he was disliking it a bit.

But he made sure that it didn't show up on his face and kept a smile throughout.

Joong could feel something off with Dunk today.

His face looked a little pale and his smile wasn't as genuine as it always is.

Is he okay?
Something feels different about him today.
What??? Why am I getting worried about him.
Joong! don't forget what he did.

Even if he was a little kind yesterday doesn't mean that he is a good person. He hurt my little baby. I can never forgive him.

Joong decided to ignore it and proceeded to plug his earphones in his ears to listen to some music.

When they reached the event, Dunk could see so many people present there. As far as he could see there were fans waiting for Joong.

This was his first time at such a big event so he was a little scared that he would mess up.

He briefed Joong about some things.
Joong was pretending to not care but in reality he was listening attentively because he never compromise with his work.

Dunk wasn't sure if he was able to do his job well.

Aahhh did he even listened to what I said?

Seeing him it looked like he had zero interest in listening to me.

I hope everything goes right otherwise I'll probably be scolded.

But as soon as Joong entered the stage, all of Dunk's worries went away.

He did everything accordingly to what Dunk had briefed him.

So he was actually listening.

Seeing Joong on the stage like that, Dunk could clearly see why he was loved by so many people.
