ONE MONTH [JOONGDUNK]

Chapter 13.

Joong's POV

After Asya told me everything that happened and how Dunk helped her.
I couldn't help but feel guilty.

Though I apologised to Dunk already but I still don't think he has forgiven me.

He said so in front of Asya but I could see the hurt in his eyes that he still isn't over it.

So after Asya left for home with my mom. I decided to talk to Dunk once again.

I saw him standing in a room alone.

Without wasting any time I went ahead and started talking to him.

"Dunk"
I called his name.

His face turned sour when he saw me.

"I wanted to talk to you."

"Look, I am really sorry for misunderstanding you. I was just so worried about Asya that I couldn't see anything else. I hope we could go back to how we were before. I really enjoy your company. I..."

I hesitated a little as I couldn't think of what to say next.

"P'Joong... I get it. I get that you were worried about Asya. All this was shocking for you so you couldn't think properly but I have my self respect too."

"I did nothing wrong in this whole situation but still I was the one who suffered the most."

"I did say in front of Asya that I have forgiven you but I can't forget what happened so easily. I don't think I can go back to how we were. Atleast not right now. I need some time. I don't think I can talk to you right now."

Dunk was firm in his decision.

I was a little sad but I respected Dunk's decision. It was only right for him to behave like this. After everything happened I can't expect him to be all happy with me immediately.

Author's POV

After that conversation with Joong. Dunk left the room. Although he could see Joong was sincere in his apology, he still wasn't ready to let go of everything.

Also this way his last day with Joong so he was relieved that he don't have to see him everyday.

It's not like he hated being with Joong but after everything happened he felt a little awkward around him.

He needed to stay away from Joong for some time.

*Next day*

Dunk was accompanying Love for her event today.

Love is a sweet person. Even though it was Dunk's first time meeting her. She was really sweet to him.

As Dunk was arranging things. He saw a staff coming with a bouquet.

He immediately thought that the bouquet was for Love.

The staff handed him the bouquet.

"Thank you. I'll give it to Phi Love."

"No.. it's not for her."
The other person replied.

Dunk was a little confused. It it wasn't for Love, why this person was handing him the bouquet.

"Huh?"

"It's for you."

"FOR ME??"

Everyone around Dunk started looking into his direction as he said it too loudly.

The was embarrassed and bowed his head in apology to everyone.

The staff nodded at Dunk's questions before leaving him with the bouquet.
