ONE MONTH [JOONGDUNK]

Chapter 5.

Author's POV

After much hesitation Joong decided to bring Dunk into his place.

Even though he hated Dunk but seeing him sick, Joong's heart softened a bit.

He tried to try to wake him up one last time but again he wasn't responding.

Joong had no choice but to pick Dunk up so he did the same.

He picked Dunk up in bridal style and started moving towards his house.

After reaching the door, he typed in his password to let himself in.

He went directly to the bedroom and placed Dunk on the bed.

And went ahead and removed his shoes and covered his body with a blanket.

When Joong touched the other guy's head, he could tell that it was really burning up.

He immediately went ahead and got wet towels.

With the help of the towel, he cleaned Dunk's body.

He kept a wet cloth on Dunk's head and kept changing it after some time.

Soon his efforts paid off and Dunk's body temperature was lowered a bit.

Joong was so tired that he fell asleep while caring for Dunk.

After some while when Dunk woke up, he saw Joong sleeping while sitting by his side.

He panicked at first seeing himself in an unfamiliar setting.

He also saw the wet towels and cloth. That's when he realised that Joong must have taken care of him.

He blushed to himself a bit.

I guess I was right about Joong. He isn't a bad person.

The fact that he helped me makes my resolve more firm.

When Dunk tried to get up and walk he stumbled a bit, the noise woke up Joong too.

"Where are you going?" Joong mumbled half asleep.

Dunk was embarrassed that he can't even walk straight right now so he slowly mumbled.

"I.. I wanted to use the restroom."

In his state of half asleepness Joong got up and picked Dunk up in bridal style.

Dunk was beyond shocked. The first time Joong picked him up like this, he wasn't concious but this time he was so he was extremely flustered.

"P'Joong...... I...I can walk..." He tried to reason.

"Shh... It would take too much time for you to reach by yourself."

He took Dunk inside and then came out.

"I am waiting for you outside hurry up."

Dunk was embarrassed.

"You.. you can go... I will come back on my own..."

"Don't make me repeat myself. Be quick."

Joong was standing outside, he was completely awake by now wondering to himself.

Why am I doing this?

Did I forget what this guy did?

No... I.. I am just being a decent human being. He was sick and I helped him that's all. I would make it clear to him so he doesn't misunderstand.

Joong was trying to find excuses for his own behaviour.

Little did he know that he was already warming up to the new guy.
