Night fell on Vhagar, everyone in the palace was asleep, yet Tengku Qayyum's door opened slightly from the inside. The door opened without a sound. His face appeared from the slight crack of the door. His neck stretching forward, observing anyone that might block him from going out tonight.

When all he heard was cricket chirping outside, he straightened his back again. Acting calm. He turned his wrist, glancing at his watch. 11pm. Tengku Qayyum knew his family was usually asleep at this time. He brought himself outside, his footsteps silent.

His clothes wasn't his usual one, like his formal clothes and his royal suit. It was only a plain white T-shirt, matched with a black jacket, a pair of dark jeans and a cap covering his hair. Shadowing half of his face so the palace servants wouldn't notice.

Tengku Qayyum walked stealthily to another door that led outside the palace. The main door was a bad option. Now, he just wanted to get out to calm his mind. Somewhere no one knows him as the Crown Prince.

He eyed the sliding door. A bit far from where he was. Tengku Qayyum scouted the area. Hoping no one noticed how he was creeping slowly like a thief.

Tengku Qayyum ran towards the sliding door, making a beeline to the palace wall. He quickly ran out of the palace. Running towards the wall, crouching slightly. Hoping the flashlights from the palace guard didn't see him. He'd be dead the second he was found. It would be the last time he could sneak out like this.

Tengku Qayyum's routine whenever he seeks privacy. Quietly sneaking out of the palace, relaxing with the world outside the palace gates without getting caught by anyone inside. Tengku Qayyum was bored living as a Crown Prince.

Let him live as a normal person once in a while.

Krak! He froze. Standing still, shocked when he noticed he had stepped on a dried twig. It was merely a blessing that he had already climbed over the wall. It would have been trouble if he was still on the wall.

"Who goes there?!"

He stood as quietly as he could. Pressing his lips together as to not let out a sound or a breath. He'd be dead if he was caught!
His ears perked up, listening to the guard's movement. When he couldn't hear anything, Tengku Qayyum quickly left the palace grounds. Before he makes another mistake, he'd be better off away from this place! Without a vehicle, Tengku Qayyum languidly walked by the side of the road, thick trees on each side.

His first priority was food. Then, the sea.

Tengku Qayyum huffed a long breath while lifting up both hands to the sky. Stretching his muscles. Enjoying the dark road that's only bright with the light from the lamppost. Who would rob me when all I had was fifty ringgits?

Just enough to spend on food at the night market.
Tengku Qayyum had walked for twenty minutes, just arriving at the night market. His eyes shined as he looked at all the different delicacies in front of him. As usual, there was always a lot of people here. Busy buying foods for themselves.

Tengku Qayyum started to look around. Let's eat till we can't take another bite anymore! It wasn't often that he could eat his people's food. They look more ravishing that food served in the palace. A few minutes of walking and he already caught sight of nasi kerabu ayam percik. Tengku Qayyum felt his mouth water. Oh my god! That looks so good! Tengku Qayyum quickly walked to the tent. It was difficult to get one since there was a long line waiting. Having nasi kerabu at night? That's intense!

"Bro! Gimme one nasi kerabu ayam percik. What's the total?"
The said seller took his order. Nasi kerabu that's already readied in a polystyrene box with a chicken thigh, poured over with a delicious thick sauce. He took them and placed in a plastic before handing it over.
