"Varian, what are you talking about?" Rapunzel walks forward.
I look down. I grip my chest.
"When the shard pierced my chest, it ripped through my heart causing internal bleeding." I say.
"Varian... no. You're not going to die." Rapunzel says.
"Unfortunately, your highness, he is correct." Dr. Lonny comes in.
"What?" Rapunzel asks shocked.
"Yeah. I kind of knew that." I point out.
"What? You're talking crazy Lonny." Rapunzel says.
"He's right. His heart is bleeding I'm afraid." Dr. Lonny says.
"So... how much time do I have?" I ask.
"An hour? A month? No longer than a year." He says.
Wow. My jaw drops. I don't want to die in an hour or a month. I have so many things to do. I have a dad! I don't want to die! I can't die! I run my hand over my face. What to do? What to do? I have to live! The doctor closes the door. Then my eyes light up.
"I got it!" I yell.
I grab my bag.
"Varian, what do you got?" Rapunzel asks.
"I can finally use this solution!" I smile taking it out.
"It's pink." Rapunzel says.
"It's a healing solution. I never had the right time to test this." I open it.
"Wait... you're actually going to drink it?" Rapunzel asks.
"Uh... yeah? Why wouldn't I?" I ask.
"Is it... safe?" She asks.
"Eh. We'll be fine." I start chugging it.
