I slam the door behind me. I grip my head. The voice sounded like a different person. Not me. Deeper and older. I must have been tired or something. But... I can still feel breath on my neck. I don't know why. I feel the icy breath on my neck. No one is behind me. At least... no. It's fine.

"Varian?" I hear.

I turn.

"Cassy? I mean... Cass?" I look in surprise.

She entered with a plate of cookies and milk.

"I thought you might want a snack." She smiles.

"Oh? Oh. Wow... um..." I mutter.

Get your hands upon her.

"Thanks." I say.

Touch her.

"Varian?" She lifts an eyebrow.

"Uh... thanks." I take it.

What is going on? What is going on?

"Hey listen... if you need anything, just call me or Fitzherbert." She smiles.

"Thanks. Uh thanks." I say.

Go on. Touch her.

" Uh... so I should probably get some sleep." I start pushing her out.

"Huh? Oh, oh. Yeah you must be tired." She says.

"Goodnight Cass." I say.

"Goodnight Varian, even though it's still evening." She shrugs.

I close the door. I let out a breath.

Goodnight Varian.
