Chapter 4

Jinx come on you need to get straight to business, I can already hear Tiffany shouting from the other room for her wins.  I need to  make a bag tonight. No more rude bartenders, no more of Damian's friends, just me having fun and stealing. The dance floor was  such a vibe, everyone was having the time of their lives. I mean it was a free party at the richest kids house so what else did I really expect. I continued my way through the crowd until  I saw a passed out guy. Bingo! I quickly scampered to him and picked him up  and carried him over to the bar. 

Drunk guy, "Hellooo pretty ladyyyy,  wat ya doing?" Seriously how much did this guy have to drink ? He smells awful. I sat him on the bar stool and when I turned around I  was met by Kira again. Kira," Jinx what are you doing?" Girl do you not know how to mind your own business.  Well if you must know I'm trying to pick pocket this drunk guys wallet.  "I'm just helping this guy get to the bar, he asked me to." Kira, " Wow that's so kind of you,  he's actually one of my friends Don Allen." Wasn't that the guy who gave Tiffany this invite for this party? "Oh interesting, great then I'll leave him here with you." I walked past Kira and tripped into her. "  I am so sorry. I think I'm feeling the effects of that shot. I'm such a light weight." Kira grabbed my hand and helped me up to stand up straight. Kira," It's no problem do you need a glass of water?" "No really I'm fine thank you." Once I was stable again I waved bye to Kira and  walked back on to the  dance floor.

Kir waved back at me and smiled before turning to her friend. Let's hope she doesn't notice her missing necklace and bracelet I took. Girl didn't even see it coming, I also nagged that' Don guys wallet with out her noticing.  The DJ started playing 'Low' by SZA  my favourite song. I started dancing like no one was watching. I could feel the eye's of some people on me but I didn't care it just came with being as hot as me.  Shaking my hips to the rhythm and swaying body along just felt right. The neon lights on me and the blasting sound off the music can take you into your own world. I started dancing with random boys,  and while they were distracted by me  , I stole their wallets, watches, jewellery and phones. Suckers. 

I was dancing with this with this guy who had a blue shirt,  but then he started getting a little handsy with me. "Don't you think you should take me out to dinner before we get there?" I said. Random guy, " Come on girl it's a party, live a little." I'm usually  that type of girl for the right price, but this idiot doesn't  have anything in his wallet and he is  not even good looking. I pushed his hands away from my waist which he was sliding lower down my backside. "Na I'm good, cya." I flipped him off with my middle finger and walked off. I need a drink. I made my way to the  bar and this time there was a different guy serving there. 

He had black raven curly hair, with a fresh taper fade. He wore black jeans,  Nike blue and red high tops and a black wife beater vest. He also wore two silver chains, a 'S' shaped earring on his left ear, and a silver Rolex.  I  was about to sit down when someone pulled my arm. Ugh it was that same guy from earlier. 

Random guy, " Yo Bitch ! Where do you think you're going?" " Honey, let's get one thing clear, Ok? I. AM. NOBODY'S BITCH. Now I suggest if you want to keep your arm, I would let go." I said to the guy giving him any icy stare my dad taught me. He  had a flash of fear for a moment in his eyes, but then he raised his hand like he was about to slap me. Before I knew it the Bartender was standing between us and he caught the guy's hand.How did this guy move so fast?  Like hold now, pause. All jokes aside I wished I  could be that quick that would make gym class a lot easier.  Oh gym class my one true enemy. 😓

Focus Jinx now's not the time to think about that. I looked up to the Bartender he had a pissed look on his face. The other guy who was about to slap me look like he seen a ghost. Hah! That's karma for being a disgrace to the male species with his rude and ugly ass.  Bartender, " Now correct me if  I' m  wrong but  didn't the lady say to leave her alone?" Actually sir  I said if he doesn't get his hands off me I would chop them off and feed them to him , but hey let's go with your version sweetie😗. The guy in the blue shirt looked terrified like absolutely terrified like run to your mama type terrified. Bartender, " Now  I'm going to tell you this once turn around go back to the party and leave her alone or we can do this the hard way,  and I don't think you wanna do that." Without even saying a word the guy in the blue shirt turned around and left. I guess he's just a poser, all bark and no bite.

The Bartender turned around to me and I noticed he had  deep blue eyes with  a touch of grey in them.  Bartender, " Are you alright ma'am?"  he asked me. I replied, " Yes, but I could have handled that on my own."  Bartender, " Really now?" He said with a stupid smirk on his face. 

"Yes, really sir, I can handle myself thank you very much."🤨  Bartender, " Then why did I have to save you from that guy? " You weren't saving me I could have tacken that guy down in one move, you just got in the way. 

Bartender, " Well Miss I can handle myself what's your name?" " don't you know it's common practice to give your own name first before asking someone else." I  said rolling my eyes 

Bartender, " Oh I see we have an attitude problem here, I'm Jon Kent." He said having that stupid smirk again on his face.  ATTITUDE, who does this guy thing he is? His acting  so high and mighty after saving me. I am grateful 🥲 but Sir PLEASE you don't know me , don't come think I'm weak now🙄. " I'm Jinx, just Jinx " I said . Jon, " That's a pretty interesting name, I like it, who named you that?" 

"It was my mom she really likes clowns, so she named me after one." Jon, " Just be glad she didn't name you Mr giggles,  or something." he said with a smile on his face. I couldn't help myself a small laugh escaped my lips.  Jon," A laugh finally, much better than your sassy face."

" I wasn't laughing." I protested  Jon, "Sure  you weren't"  " Whatever, can you get me some Vodka Jon please " Jon, " I'm not the bartender I was actually came back here looking for something to drink as well" " Oh ok " I replied.

Jon, "Maybe let's go check by the pool area?"  "Sure, just don't kidnap me." I said Jon, " HA Ha vey funny miss attitude." Jumped over the bar counter grabbed his jacket. Which looked like a leather man's jacket.  Once he had his things we started to walk outside.
