Chapter 8

I made my way back inside as quickly as I could, literally zooming like someone lit my dress on fire. Once I passed the bar I slowed down to catch my breath slightly. Seriously I think I might've have over done it on the dance floor earlier or maybe it's just the wait of the items I'm carrying getting to me. " Jinx I'm in the foyer" I hear Tiffany say on her earpiece.Ok Tiff just give me a sec  to grab another drink please because I'm dying over here.' I can practically hear her  eyes role from here "Girl make it quick, Rachel  practically dragged me kicking and screaming from the poker tables." 'Ok chill  I won't get anything nvm I'll be there soon.' "Copy that" Tiffany replied. Tiffany is never in a good mood when anyone stops her winning streak, not like she's playing fair with the poor suckers but knowing her, she probably cleaned them out already. Poor Rachel, I myself never mess with Tiff's flow but we've got to stay focus. We need to score the big one tonight this might be our only chance to. And though Tiff is going to be a massive pain in the ass later, the stakes are too high to falter.

This was not like our normal missions where we just cause chaos. No tonight we're getting back at Wayne enterprises. They have a new urbanisation project that plans to renovate mine and Tiff's neighbourhood. So much will be lossed if this goes through, not merely houses but livelihoods. We don't  stay on the nice side of town which is  perfect for us, the higher crime rate the easier it is for us to do our thing. Although  our part of Gotham isn't the best and heck most of Gotham his messed up , we have a community there. The local business like Angie's hair salon, and Dill's delli are key factors that make that place home. Yes there used for illegal activities such as laundering money . But there still important for the community.  My dad sent us here and I'm not failing him. He barely got out of Arkhem asylum 2weeks ago and mom has been warning me against seeing him . Yes the man's insane . Like jump into a bath of chemicals type insane but his still my dad. My mom is trying to forget her past and leave memories of him behind her . She still doesn't pay for her groceries and has pet hyenas and dyes her hair every shade of red and blue. l think she wants me to have a normal upbringing. I think it's to late for that though I was taught how to steel before I said my first words. Then again I don't know much about what went down between them . Either way I grew up in an unormal way and this is who I'm exspected to be.Tiff too, were seen as the next generation of criminal royalty. They can't get away with this project. Not with out getting a little message from us first.😏  

Now guys here is the part of this night where I want to slap myself silly and  where I should have just gone home. It's not because I slipped up but can you guess who I ran into. No like actually she spawned up out of nowhere for the 4th time tonight. Ladies and gentlemen I give you freaking Kira🙄. I repeat Kira but I don't have time for her. I turn the other way any make a b- line in the opposite direction. Phew 😥 This girl must have caught on about her necklace by now but she ain't getting this back anytime soon. No babes I stole that fair and square. 

Speaking of the necklace stashing it in my shoe might have not been the best decision. It's pricking my poor, helpless defenceless feet. Oh my gosh it's just like Kira🤣 . Sticking its nose in places that doesn't concern them. Harsh yea maybe but she literally is making me take laps around this massive mansion. And girl just gives me off vibes .

So like I have the parts for the story written down it's just I wanted to change so much of it. So I'll just write what I can and post them when I'm done. Anyways hope ya'll like this short part. Chapter 9 is coming out tmr so enjoy this so long.
