Jessica's POV

I jolted when I heard a loud bell."fuck, what the hell" I heard Mia say groaning a bit pulling the sleeping mask off her face.

Seems she's not used to the bell too."Good morning" I greeted and groggily climbed off the bed.

I grabbed a towel ,and a new head warmer and I went to the bathroom.i stripped off my clothes and head warmer . The water warmed my scalp and I closed my eyes, after some minutes I exited the bathroom and Mia went in.

I took the opportunity and got dressed making sure I covered my hair well.

I was sitting waiting for Mia ,my eyes flicked to my bracelet.i have always had it ,the foster care said it must have been from my parents.

It was silver with the initial 'A' on it .it is obviously a locket but it never opens. I felt like throwing the bracelet away what kind of parent leaves their 3 months old child at the door of a foster care building.

I looked away from the bracelet,I can't bring myself to throw it away. It was all I had from my parents. They might be dead for all I know ....

Mia came out of the bathroom, talking about some random girl. We left our room for breakfast after she got dressed.

"So I think she had a baby and the school hid it from everyone, cause I swear I saw a baby bump before she disappeared"

I nodded half listening. She was talking and eating a chicken burger with extra mayonnaise. She called it a 'cum burger' again.

I ignored the comment ,already used to her sexual innuendos.

"So.....you ready for the papers today?" She asked as we left the cafeteria.

"I guess,I don't know really" I replied.

I spotted the mysterious demon boy. He stared at me and I squinted my eyes at him . He seemed confused but he just put on his headphones and walked away.

"Well,good luck honey" she sent a flying kiss before disappearing into the crowd.

Lots of students were holding books trying to cram as much as they can.

The bell rang and I head to class for the first paper.

I sat in the middle of the class but behind,I had my writing equipments laid out on the table, the teacher passed the question papers. Before asking us to start.

The duration for the exams was an hour and a half. But I was done in a hour. It was actually not that difficult.

I kept my eyes trained on the question paper. The invigilator walked beside me. I saw Kieran in front. He gave the paper to the teacher and invigilator, then he walked out glancing at me once.

I submitted right after him and I left the class, I could feel students staring at me as I left. The hall was empty I walked in the hallway,until I saw the mysterious boy.

Kieran was staring at him ,he was staring right back,the air was tense.

I was watching them hiding and peeping from a corner until the mysterious boy's eyes suddenly shifted to me ..

I jolted a bit ,since it was unexpected. Kieran left only sending a small smile in my direction.

The mysterious boy was about to leave ."hey" I called and walked over to him when he stopped. he pulled down the headphones.

"Hi Jess" he smiled I shuddered a bit ,his smile is beautiful and scary at the same time.

"You, you're Daimonas aren't you ?" I said pointing my finger accusingly at him standing on my toe so my finger points directly at his face.
