Yeonjun's POV:

I fixed the pillow again before I sat down, the same thing I do every time I go to therapy. It's almost become a bit of a habit now, reaching out to place the bowl of candy in the center of the coffee table before Dr. Hwang has even gotten the chance to speak. I know it would bother me to no end if I didn't give into the urges in my head, and I'm coming here to try and get better for a reason.

Soobin was still in the back of my mind since last night when he came over to my apartment. I swear, he was going to finally ask me on a date, and then I think my mom scared the shit out of him. It's been bothering me ever since, especially since he seemed to be avoiding me throughout the day today. I think he's just really embarrassed, and trust me, I was trying my hardest to ignore the fact that his hands were shaking and how he stuttered. It was honestly really cute.

"How're you doing?" She asked, needing to shake my head out of my thoughts.

I gave her a little smile, "I'm ok. How're you?"

"I'm good..." She raised an eyebrow right after, "Only doing ok?"

I pursed my lips, leaning forward and placing my elbows on my knees. I interlaced my fingers together, "Is it umm..." I paused, wondering if I should talk to her about this, "Is it weird if I talk to you about Soobin? I-I know he comes to see you."

She seemed surprised, eyes widening a bit, "Oh..." She clicked her pen closed, gently placing it on top of her notepad, "Of course, you can talk about Soobin."

I sighed quietly, "I just uhh..." I brought my hand up, scratching the back of my neck, "I think he tried to ask me out last night."

She scrunched her eyebrows, "Tried?"

I nodded, "He came over to my apartment last night and didn't let me know beforehand. He brought me flowers as well..." I chuckled lightly to myself, "I think that was the most anxious I've ever seen him. He was frozen at first, and then his hands were shaking, he was sweating, he was stuttering..." I placed my head in my hands, "I felt bad, I thought he was going to have an anxiety attack or something."

She instantly got worried, "Did he have one?"

I shook my head, "Not while he was there..." I hurried to reply, "But he left pretty quickly, so I'm not really sure."

She seemed confused, "He left before he asked you?"

I nodded, "My mom was hanging out with me for the day, and I think he just got embarrassed."

She still seemed confused, but then her shoulders relaxed, "Why don't you recount the conversation for me?..." She asked, and I scrunched my eyebrows, "Word for word. I know you can."

I sat up, straightening my back as I nodded. I closed my eyes, going back in my memory to recount the conversation, "I answered the door when he knocked..."

I scrunched my eyebrows when I saw Soobin in the hallway, "Soobin?..." I asked, smiling and leaning against the door frame to act a bit more relaxed, "Hey, what're you doing here?"

He didn't speak in return, noticing how he was gripping the flowers in his hand. I tilted my head to the side a little, "You ok?..." I asked, trying to break him out of whatever he was thinking. I tried to change the conversation, pointing towards the bouquet in his hands, "Love the flowers."

I didn't know why he was so nervous suddenly, and it seemed like he was choking on his words. His hand started to shake as he replied, "H-Hi." Stuttering in the process.
