Yeonjun's POV:

I was just watching television when my phone started ringing. I flinched because I wasn't expecting it, but I guess my mom just wanted to do another one of our late-night chats before she goes to bed. I turned the volume down on the television and grabbed my phone off the coffee table in front of me. I scrunched my eyebrows when it was Soobin calling me, not my mom. I tilted my head to the side in confusion as my phone kept ringing.

I thought he was out with his military buddies...?

I shook my head and answered, bringing my phone up to me ear as I asked, "Hello?"

"Yeonjun~..." He sang a bit, hearing the muffled music in the background, "I wanna ask fo favor." He slurred his words.

I turned the television off, replying, "Are you drunk?"

"Mmm not drunk. I only had this many." He said back, probably holding up his fingers even though I couldn't see him. I thought he was so cute, deciding to keep talking to him rather than just hang up.

I chuckled a little, "Are you having a good time with your friends?"

He giggled, "They left..." He replied, and my smile dropped, "I dunno where they went."

"What? Why?" I asked, scrunching my eyebrows.

"They got mad at Soobinnie." He replied, and I was worried that something drastic happened for a split second.

I stood up, going over to my front door and grabbing my jacket, "Ok, umm... I'm going to come pick you up, ok?"

"Hey! I was gonna ask Yeonjun to pick me up!" He said as I put my jacket on and started tying my shoes.

"Yeonjunie's coming, alright? Just stay there and wait outside for me. I'll be there in five minutes." I said, pushing my glasses back up the bridge of my nose and grabbing my keys.

He giggled again, "They kicked me out..." He said as I rushed out the door, "Th-They don't like when you fight people."

"You got into a fight?!..." I worriedly said, walking faster to my car, "Jesus Christ, ok... J-Just wait for me outside. I'm on my way."

"Okie, biyo~" He said, like he didn't have a care in the world. I didn't even get to reply before he hung up, and I shoved my phone in my pocket and unlocked my car.

It was only five minutes away, but I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. I didn't really know what to expect, but I was so confused about the whole situation. He got into a fight? With whom and what about? Soobin is probably the least aggressive person I've ever met, but he suddenly calls me in the middle of the night because he got kicked out of the club him and his friends went to? And why did his friends just leave him there when he's that wasted?

Nothing made sense in my head, and I had a million questions about the phone call I just received. Maybe I should've stayed on the phone with him to make sure he stayed there, but I can't turn back time. I hope he's alright, but from the way he sounded, he's bound to be puking at my apartment in about twenty minutes.

I saw Soobin as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, talking to one of the bouncers by the door. His Uniform jacket was unbuttoned all the way, exposing his bright white shirt underneath tucked into his cargo pants. His hat was bunched up and shoved into his pocket as well. Soobin seemed all over the place, and I could see how tight the bouncer's grip was on Soobin's upper arm. I didn't bother parking, pulling up to the front instead and getting out of the car. Soobin recognized me instantly, smiling as he said, "Yeonjun~ Hey, I was just talking to you."
