-3rd POV-

"Lilia, good morning." (Y/n) smiled, but then frowned when the said male only ignored her.

Lilia turned towards her and smiled, before running through her, "Good morning, Silver."

"Morning, father." Silver nodded.

The female's eyes widen, looking down at her hands, seeing that she was see through. She then turned, seeing the others, "Mal. Sebek." She called out, but didn't receive an answer back from them.

She walked towards them and tried to reach out, but they seemed to get further and further.

"Mal...Malleus!" She cried out.

"—her. Mother!"

(Y/n) jolted up with a gasp, adrenaline running through her veins, every emotion seen in her eyes and face. Pain, sadness, despair, anguish, hopelessness. Emotions that she felt when none of her family noticed her, like she didn't exist.

Ciel watched in sadness, before putting his hands on either side of her face, making her look at him as she hyperventilated, "Breath. In and out. In." He sucked in his breath, then blew out, "Out."

She did as so, following his instructions, breathing in and out as he did, before finally calming down, "Ciel..." She softly said, barely above a whisper.

He gently ran his hand through her hair, just like she would with him whenever he needed comfort, "It's okay. It was just a nightmare." He softly said.

She closed her eyes, leaning her forehead against his, "Thank you, my little dragon..." She pushed back his hair and placing a gentle kiss on his forehead.

He blushed slightly at the motherly gesture, before they both turned to the door, seeing the familiar demon butler.

"Pardon me, sir, lady...Oh?" Sebastian said, as he wheeled in the cart of tea, "You two being awake at this hour is quite unusual." He handed the earl the morning newspaper.

"I woke up to mother having a nightmare. So I had to wake her and calm her." He said, grabbing the paper, "Those two didn't get back till late last night, after all." He opened the paper, "I mean, what in the—!" He cut himself off as his eyes widen.

Another mysterious attack!
A coffeehouse in Piccadilly Circus severely damaged!

"—Well! Why, lord earl! What a popular little thing you are...!" Lau looked at the paper, "Let's be frank, that duo has seemed terribly dodgy from the start!"

"Quite." Ciel said, opening an invitation, "Every time I come to London, I can't go a day without one of these..." He muttered, letting the letter fall.

"However, I can't fathom why they would cause those incidents. Going by that behavior, the theory of a grudge against colonial rule seems weak at best. Even if they think ill of Anglo-Indians, attacking them indiscriminately entails too much risk."

"In the first place, if they were indeed the perpetrators, would they leave the townhouse in blatant view of my sight as they did? That's like practically begging me to suspect them!" He huffed, "Just thinking back on it makes me angry! Besides—"

"Well, thennn—! To expedite matters, you just have to trail them at night. Right?" Lau smiled.
