Chapter 19

-3rd POV-

Malleus looked around, as he sat inside the carriage, with sparkling eyes. He was in awe as he saw people walking outside.

Ciel couldn't help but look at him, a small smile, remembering how his mother was the same way when she entered this world. He then let out a small sigh before grabbing the letter from the queen and reading it.

(Y/n) smiled at her brother's excitement as they looked around.

"Young master. If you are attributing this case to the underworld, will we be calling on him again?" Sebastian questioned, as the earl and the twins looked at each other.

"To be honest, I would prefer to avoid it, but..." He trailed off, sighing.

"Why, if it isn't Ciel! (Y/n)! And Malleus! You miss me already?! Why, you little boy blue, you!" 

"I want to get back to the manor as soon as possible. Let's go." The dark blue haired teen said, irked.

"Very well..." The butler trailed off.

(Y/n) smiled, "What are we investigating this time, little dragon?" She questioned, curious.

"A series of missing children, it may have to do with the circus that came to London." Ciel said.

"Ah, I see. I hope to find these children."

He nodded and looked at the twin male fae, who seemed concerned.

"If I may ask. Have these jobs of yours been critical? Before I came, I felt that my sister was hurt." Malleus said.

He blinked, nodding, "Some are. Some are not. I had told mother before that I didn't want her to interfere in dangerous situations, but she did so anyway." He sighed, looking at the girl beside him, who smiled innocently.

The brother laughed, "Well, knowing her. She will protect anyone she holds dear. I remember when we were children and she cried when I fell. She tried her best to heal me but ended up accidentally making the injury worse."

(Y/n)'s slightly pouted, "I thought you were going to die. Lilia would always play pranks on us so obviously I thought that."

The demon and earl both chuckled.

The male fae only chuckled at his sister's expression.

"—Are you in...Undertaker?" Ciel questioned as they walked into the building.

They all heard a laugh from somewhere.

"I bid yeeee welcome, lord earl..." Undertaker said.

A skull rolled by their feet, startling the earl, who held (Y/n)'s arm. The skull kept rolling till it hit some small statues, knocking them all down. The four turned behind them, seeing the familiar male...Well to the three, Malleus just met him.

"Does your lordship finally feel like stepping into the coffin that I've made specially for yoooou, hm?" He grinned.

"Why, you..." The teen was irritated, which made the male laugh.

"Strike~" He held another skull in hand, "In any case, have a seat. I've just baked some cookies!"

(Y/n) perked up at the word cookies since they were good last time she tried them.

The silver haired male turned to the twin male fae, "And who may you be? You look awfully similar to dearie here."

Malleus smiled, "She is my sister. Twin, in fact."

"Ah, nice to meet you." He smiled, putting his hand out for a shake, which was done, "I'm the Undertaker, but you may call me Undertaker."

The twins blinked with dotted eyes at his joke.
