“What?” I was blank by the information

“What?” I was blank by the information.

“Yes, I'm sure even your mother was aware of it.” I looked at the direction of her in the kitchen only to see her coming out with a tray.

“Eomma?”

“What?” She absentmindly spat, being oblivious to our conversation. She kept the tray on the table with a smile. “Here's some tea and cookies.”

“Did you know there was another person in the car with Taehyung?” She turned freeze.

“Eomma?” I asked again when I didn't receive any response.

“Yes, there was.”

“Why didn't you tell me?” I was tired of her hiding things from me.

“I knew, once you came to know about this survivor, you would want a person to blame. It would be impulsive and absurd to do so, that's why I kept you out of light.”

“Eomma...”

“I know, I'm so sorry.”

“Miss Lee, I heard you were having hallucinations too. Are you still having them?” I shook my head at Jeongguk's question.

“So, are you alright with visiting the survivor? He's still hospitalized due to excessive internal bleeding. It's alright if you don't want to visit him, I could understand if you still have those memories passing through your mind. You see, I waited for you to recover so that I can investigate this accident through you first since you were the closest to your late lover. I had checked everything but I wanted to know if you know all these or not.”

“Why are you even so investigating this? Let my Taehyung rest in peace, please. I don't want people dwelling in his past, he had enough.”

“Miss Lee, I believe you would want me to investigate this further when you will know the truth.” He sternly said.

“What do you mean?” I was seriously confused.

“The accident, it was not an accident Miss Lee. It was a pre-planned accident and first degree murder.”

My heart skipped a beat.
