Ada sighed as she soon stepped out onto the balcony, the cool night air a welcomed break from the stuffy warmth inside the building that had begun to line her face with sweat. She couldn't afford to ruin her makeup, not only had it been expensive but she had also just gotten fresh off the dumping train. That's right, Ada Wong just got dumped, by her boyfriend of nine years, no less.

She couldn't fathom why and had bordered on the edge of a public meltdown when Kennedy had embarrassingly tried to explain to her that he was gay now. Whilst Ada herself didn't know exactly how to take it, she felt insulted overall. On one hand, she didn't want to be perceived as homophobic, however, on the other hand - she perceived herself as being worthless.

What kind of woman was she when her boyfriend turned out to be gay?
Had she turned him this way? Did he never like her? Was it something she did or said wrong? Had he always been queer and she just kept him foolishly trapped in the relationship without knowing it? She hadn't meant to, but she just sincerely wished that Leon could've known sooner. Could've told her from the very start so she didn't feel like an absolute idiot. It was her fault, she knew it was! Everything she had tried, she had tried to be sexy, wholesome and supportive, creative within their relationship, and only in recent years had she ever noticed how withdrawn Leon had suddenly become.

It had all changed for him with that one night in Beirut with Chris Redfield, the two teaming up for a brief joint mission to stop someone. Ever since then, Ada had known that something had felt off but now... Now she staggered towards the balcony and straightened up with a soft sigh as she pulled a cigarette out from her purse. She sauntered towards the edge lit it and gently placed the cigar in between her plump, red lips as her other hand danced along the railing of the balcony.

"Smoking is bad for you," Ada jumped as she heard that nasal, unimpressed voice.
She whirled around on her heel and narrowed her dark, brown eyes at him in defiance as well as scorn for the being who stood in front of her.

Albert Wesker looked rather handsome tonight, she had to admit. She felt safe admitting that to herself because, unlike Leon, Wesker had told her from the very start that he had always fancied men. His blonde locks were slicked back, but he still wore his sunglasses and refused to even hold up the white mask with glittery, navy blue paint that danced along its cheeks. It also had a large, deep blue feather and rimmed along the edges with golden trims. Its holding stick was black and as she tilted her head to get a good look at him, Wesker was wearing a dark, navy blue three-piece suit with a black undershirt, black trimmings and buttons, navy blue pants, and a tapestry of constellations sprawled out across his shoulders, raining down towards his impressive, muscular chest.

"What are you doing here?" Ada had tried to sound smart but as she mumbled around the cigarette in her mouth with a flat look thrown his way, she realised how defeated she truly did sound.

Wesker's lips dipped down for a moment. She noticed before he carefully stepped forward to examine her. Ada was in a gorgeous red dress, an image of a golden dragon hugged around her waist before rising up to protect her chest from any prying hands or eyes. The frills along the edge of her dress were met with dark crimson heels with plastic laces that tightly wound themselves up her legs and disappeared beneath her dress.

Wesker hummed as he tilted his head at her before carefully yet slowly, stepping past her. "I needed some air." He finally answered.

Ada scoffed and rolled her eyes, a few of her black strands coming loose from her side bun that was adorned with a gorgeous silver brooch lined with pearls that Alex Wesker had given her not too long ago. "Enjoying the party?" She asked.

"No," he replied a few heartbeats later as he carefully placed his hands along the railing and leaned over to squint down into the garden.

"You know," Ada smirked as she watched him - it was very tempting to think of pushing him over. "You should probably take off those glasses if you can't see in the dark."
