The morning sun cast a warm glow over Havenfell, a stark contrast to the chilling events of the night before. The air was crisp, carrying the scent of blooming flowers and freshly baked bread from the town's bakery. Despite the serene facade, an undercurrent of tension ran through the streets, as if the town itself was holding its breath.

Felicity, Nathan, Callum, and Bree gathered in the inn's lobby, their expressions sombre and eyes weary. The events of the previous night weighed heavily on their minds, and the argument that had erupted among them had left lingering traces of unease.

"Let's try to find out what really happened last night," Nathan suggested, his voice determined but tinged with apprehension. "We need answers."

Felicity nodded, their heart pounding in their chest. They had spent the night trying to push down their emotions, to hide the fresh pain beneath their long sleeves. They couldn't let their friends see their weakness, not now.

Callum, ever the steady presence, placed a reassuring hand on Felicity's shoulder. "We'll figure this out together. We just need to keep our eyes open and stick together."

Bree, still shaken from the argument, managed a small, supportive smile. "Yeah, we've faced worse. We can handle this."

The four stepped out into the bright morning, the sunlight almost too cheerful given their solemn mission. As they walked through the town, they noticed how quiet it was. The usual bustle of townsfolk was absent, and those who were out and about moved with a sense of urgency, casting wary glances at the newcomers.

Felicity kept their eyes peeled, trying to catch any sign of what had happened last night. They couldn't shake the feeling that the town held more secrets than it let on. Their mind wandered back to the abandoned building, the terrifying demon, and Juno's confession. The weight of it all pressed heavily on their chest, but they forced themselves to focus.

As they walked past a row of shops, Bree spotted a small alleyway littered with crumpled flyers and debris. "Hey, let's check down here. Maybe we'll find something."

The group ventured into the alley, the shadows providing a cool respite from the sun's glare. Nathan picked up one of the flyers, his brow furrowing. "It's another missing poster. There are so many of these."

Callum examined the poster, his expression troubled. "Looks like another townsfolk gone missing. What if it has something to do with the demons?"

Felicity's heart raced. The missing posters were unsettling, but they also seemed to fit into a larger, more terrifying puzzle. "We need to find out more about these people. Maybe someone in town knows something."

They continued their search, stopping to talk to a few townspeople. Most were hesitant to speak, their eyes darting nervously as if afraid of being overheard. Felicity could feel their frustration growing, the need for answers clashing with the town's apparent fear of revealing its secrets.

At one point, Bree pulled Felicity aside, concern etched on her face. "Are you okay? You seem... distant."

Felicity forced a smile, hiding the pain that threatened to surface. "I'm fine. Just tired. Let's keep going."

The morning dragged on, and despite their efforts, they found little concrete information. Felicity's mind kept drifting back to their friends. They couldn't let their personal struggles get in the way of finding out what was happening. The stakes were too high.

As they turned a corner, they saw an elderly woman sweeping her porch. She looked up as they approached, her eyes widening slightly. "You're the new folks in town, aren't you?"

"Yes, ma'am," Nathan replied politely. "We're trying to find out what happened last night. There was... an incident."

The woman's face paled, and she glanced around nervously before lowering her voice. "There are things you shouldn't ask about in Havenfell. Things that are better left alone."

"Please," Felicity implored, their voice cracking slightly. "We need to know. Our friends are in danger."

The woman hesitated, then sighed deeply. "If you want answers, talk to Father O'Connell at the church. He knows more about the darkness in this town than anyone else."

They thanked her and made their way toward the church, their pace quickening with a renewed sense of purpose. Felicity's mind raced, the pieces of the puzzle slowly coming together. They had to uncover the truth, for the sake of their friends and their own sanity.

As they approached the church, Felicity glanced at their friends. Nathan, Callum, and Bree were determined, ready to face whatever came next. Felicity took a deep breath, steeling themselves for the confrontation ahead. They couldn't let their pain hold them back. Not now. Not when so much was at stake.

With a final, resolute step, they entered the church, ready to face the shadows of Havenfell and uncover the secrets that lay hidden within its serene facade.
