THE PERILUOS
Like what the general said, kina-umagahan ay nag simula na nga ako mag training dito. My first day was hell because they told me to run in their wide field for almost 2 hours as a punishment for me from being late. It almost makes me faint as if it continues for one more hour again because i always complain. They so cruel especially that witch name Maven, she was a captain here assign for the physical training for the entire new recruit agent. I had a feeling that she didn’t like me and so do i because sa aming lahat ako ang mas pinapahirapan nito.
After the whole day, all of my muscles were aching in pain so I’m not surprised anymore when i lay to my bed i already pass out. Next morning i am late again for my training because I’m so tired to get off the bed specially my body were burning in pain. They didn’t listen to my excuse and give me another punishment. They train us like a soldier ready to go in a war, they also teach us how to use weapons how to defuse bombs, how to solve a case, and many more. That’s my whole week went that turns into months and now i can already see my improvement in my training after it.
”Guys! May i ikukuwento ako sa inyo”
Rinig ko mula sa kabilang mesang nasa likuran ko. Kasalukuyang nandidito ako ngayon sa cafeteria eating my lunch alone in a rectangular table. I don’t have any friends to deal with, ilap ang mga taong lapitan at kausapin ako at hindi narin ako sumubok mag hanap at ipagpilitan ang sarili sa kanila.
”Kwento din ito ng seniors natin. Alam niyo ba na dati ay under pa sa government ang agency?”
”Oo Sara alam na namin niyan”
”Pero alam niyo kung anong dahilan bakit ito ganito ngayon?”
Lihim na lamang ako napailing sa kanila.
”Ganito kasi yon, 5 years ago meron silang ginawang mission and the Red Talon Team was in line-”
” Black Talon Team? Sounds familiar”
”Duh! They are Legends! They are the Top Agent and most high ranking, kaya Sila ang pinagmamalaki ng agency dati because of their skills at marami din silang natagumpayang mission na mahihirap! Sayang nga lang that they are no longer active now because their leader is dead”
”Ah yes, alam ko yan sa pagkakatanda ko Agent Infinity ata ang tawag sa kanya”
Tapatingin ako sa kamay kung naka kuyom na pala sa taas ng mesa. Inalis ko ito doon at ibinaba sa hita ko.
”Excuse us can we sit here?”
Napa tigil naman ako sa pangunguya at napa tingala upang tingnan kung sino man ang mga ito. Napakurap muna ako ng mga ilang beses bago tumango na ikinangiti naman nila.
”Oh my gosh! Its Agent Vana and Agent Cooper! One of the members of the Red Talon”
Sandali ko pang rinig mula sa likuran bago ulit binaling ang tingin sa dalawang umupo sa harapan ko. Hindi sila umimik na panay lang sinusulyapan ang isat isa habang ako ay ibinalik na lang ang tingin sa pagkain.
An awkward silence filled in the atmosphere that lasted for how many minutes until one of them cleaned his throat that caught my attention from the food.
”So? how’s your day Z?”
Agent Cooper asks while the awkwardness still remains from the three of us.
