Richie Sambora - Interview

Mila's POV

'Are you sure this is okay?' I say

'Mila, stop overthinking. You look perfect' Richie says walking up behind me

'Babe, this is my first interview since appearing on Victoria's Secret runway' I say smoothing out my skirt

'Darling, stop panicking' Richie says turning me around

'You'll do amazing like you always do' Richie says kissing my forehead

I smile and peck him on the lips, Richie has always been there for me and I can't thank him enough. He was the one who encouraged me to accept the opportunity and it was the best thing I've ever done.

'Mrs Sambora, they're ready for you now' One of the producers say

'Ok, thank you' I say smiling

'We'll meet you in your dressing room' Richie says

'Ok, I love you' I say

'I love you more now go smash it' Richie says kissing my head

'I'll see you soon' I say and then walk towards the stage

I get to the stage and I hear the interviewer say

'Now, ladies and gentlemen help me welcome one of the newest Victoria's Secret Angels. Mila Sambora!' The interviewer says and I hear everyone clap and that's when I walk into the stage.

I smile ear to ear when I see everyone cheering and clapping.

I get to my seat and sit down just as the interviewer starts speaking.

'How are you, Mila!'

'I'm good! I'm still trying to process everything' I say smiling

'So, let's get straight to the point' 

'How is it being a Victoria's Secret Angel?' 

'It's amazing, modelling has been my dream ever since I was a wee girl and now that it's coming true it's so much to process and realise that I'm a professional model now' I say

'You led the Victoria's Secret runway in France didn't you' The interviewer said

'Yeah, I did. I was very nervous but it was my husband and his best mates that reassured me that I could do it and I went out there and did it' I say and the crowd awws

'Oh yeah, because you and Richie recently got married didn't you' 

'Yeah, we did!' I say smiling

'So how did you and Richie meet?'

'So, I was in America visiting some family in Cali and the boys were on tour. My family and I were out in a restaurant for dinner the same night I got to Cali and I had went up to the bar to see what drinks they had. The boys were at the bar and Richie paid for my drink and we've been together ever since' I say 

'I do have a question for you though' 

'Fire on' I say 

'You've been in America for 7 years so how have you managed to keep your accent?' 

'Everyone asks me that but I can never answer it! I have no clue how I've kept my accent' I say giggling 

'I mean half the time the boys still can't understand me because since I'm from Edinburgh, us Scots tend to speak fast and I still pronounce things as I did in Scotland but they are getting better. Even though they always get me to say words that Scots can't say and it drives me mad' I say giggling 

'It would drive me mental if my wife did that' 

'But at the end of the day I know they're joking around so I don't take it to heart' I say 

'Are you and Richie planning to expand the family any time soon? I'm sure the world would go nuts' 

'No! Not yet, We've spoken about having children but we're at the peak of our careers as of right now so we won't be having children any time soon' I say giggling 

'My Mam and Dad want another grandchild but they won't be getting one from me any time soon. I have four sisters so they can ask them' I say 

'Your sisters live in Edinburgh as well am I right' 

'Yeah, they do.' I say 

'How long has it been since you've been home?' 

'I would say it's been probably around three months. Richie and I went to Edinburgh back in March for my birthday. I loved every single second of it because seeing Richie with my nieces and nephews is just so heartwarming' I say smiling 

'They love him, sometimes I think they love him more than they love me to be honest' I say making the interviewer and the audience laugh 

'It's the same with the boys! I don't know what it is. I remember the first time I took the band to Edinburgh, the kids were hesitant at first since you know they were strangers but within an hour they were attached to their hips. They followed them everywhere. I barely got any attention' I say 

'Well, we have a little surprise for you tonight' 

'Come out!' 

I look over my shoulder to see my family come out where I had just come out not even 5 minutes ago. I scream happily and instantly put my hand to my mouth in surprise. 

I get out of my chair and run over to my nieces and nephews just as they start running over to me. 

My eldest niece Nicole jumps in my arms and nearly knocks me over but I manage to balance myself the rest of them hug my legs. 

'Oh my god!' I say happily 

'Everyone welcome, Mila's family' The interviewer says and everyone starts clapping and cheering 

After I hugged everyone, the producers put more seats down so everyone could sit down. The adults sit on the chair and the kids sit on the couch with me.

'Where's Uncle Richie?' William says and everyone starts laughing 

'He's backstage' I say smiling

'Now, I can see what you're talking about' The interviewer says chuckling 

Timeskip till the interview's over

We all walk back to my dressing room. The kids were in front of us and the adults were behind them.

'I seriously didn't expect you to come out' I say still smiling ear to ear

'We can tell' My sister Olivia says giggling 

'Uncle Richie!' We hear the kids shout happily 

I look up to see all of them attack Richie with hugs. I smile knowing how much Richie loves all of them 

'Where's Jon?' Nicole says blushing. I start giggling because Nicole has a small crush on Jon.

'He's inside! Should we all head in so you can see them?' Richie says smiling 

'Yeah!' The kids say happily and run into the dressing room 

'We'll head in with them so they don't bombard them' My Mam says 

'Ok' I say smiling 

'Nice to see you Richie' My dad says 

'Nice to see you too Derek' Richie says and then they all head inside 

'You did amazing!' Richie says hugging me 

'Thank you, you calmed my nerves' I say 

'Well, I'm glad. Now I want to see my nieces and nephews so can we go in?' Richie says 

'Yeah let's go' I say giving Richie a peck on the lips
